Which player in the league do you hate? (2 Viewers)

Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Tony Romo. Not cause they suck or anything, I just hate media darlings. There's more that could go on this list, but these are my top 3.
I honestly don't hate anybody. But, if you're going to target media darlings, how does Manning not make that list?

Can Bill Belicheat be addded to the list, even though he is not a player?
I have to say I can't stand the sight of this richie. Dude, if you're gonna cut the collar and sleeves out of your $100 shirt at least try to cut in a straight line.
It's not a $100 shirt to him - it's free.It also warrants mentioning that the infamous Belichick hoodie was only $45 before he made it famous. It's now $75.

the ny football giants for ruining the pats pefect season . i still can not see the unfirom without getting mad or almost depressed . i cross out any game with giants the last 2 years on nfl net pre-season games . and any regular including monday night/sunday night game with giants i will watch highlite show and previous dvr game instead . i will not watch anything with strahan since all i think of when i see him is that sb sack , so i also boycott fox pre-game . i watched philly/giant playoff last year and thats it . although i do kind of like brandon jacobs rb . hate eli, tyree and burress for the drive. also hate samuel for not making the easy int earlier . cant stand vick since i like animals and have volunteered at local animal shelter . ive enjoyrd the eagles the last few years but will root against them now since i will root against any team with vick .
LOL

Jerry Jones and players who are who give cheap shots (just over the line or on it). Guys like Rodeny Harrison

hate......the ####ification of the NFL
 I "hate" no people, but the things that piss me off:

Criminals who get favorable treatment because of their status (many)

Celebrities who get hounded by the media and fans for conduct we've all done or would if we could (many but in particular, Leinart)

People who either can't make up their mind on important issues or play the system (Favre)

Talent wasted due to laziness or lack of sack (many, but in particular, Leinart, VY, Matt Jones)

Whining to the media about anything (way too many to list)

ME ME ME attitudes (again, way too many)

Celebrities people who can't manage their life, usually showing itself with financial or drug issues (see above)

Bill Bellichick - condescending ###.

Anyone from the 1972 Dolphins when the last undefeated team each season finally loses - arrogant bastages.

Leonard Little

Terri Donohue

Denise and John York

and most fans of the Cowboys and Rams

Can we stop with the stupid names for these players? Is this a product of kids growing up during the "NFL Primetime" era that never fully reach maturity?

Randy Moss - dogs it with his old team, just so he can get out. I'd rather a guy like T.O. who may run his mouth but still goes out there week in, week out and plays hard,.

Philip Rivers - he may be a good QB, but you haven't won jack yet kid....shut your mouth and just play.

L.T. - same as above.

Merriman - juice city.

Rookies- who sign a contact then want a new one 1 year later. If you think you can play toa certain level, sign a contract that will pay you as such. don't keep holding out.

 Exactly what I was wondering, but I do hate the entire Manning family. They are like the Kennedys of football, all accomplishments overstated and glorified and all flaws overlooked by the media.

Peyton Manning is a pretty awesome quarterback. One of the very best ever. I don't believe his accomplishments are overstated, and I don't think he has very many flaws that the media overlooks.

But the mouth breathers think it's so clever to say "Bill Belicheat." Not sure how you justify taking that away from them.

I hate the media glorification of certain players more than the players themselves. But...

The only player I truly hate that is still playing: Josh Scobee.

The only player I truly hate that doesn't play anymore: Mike Vanderjagt.

Kickers have no right to be arrogant punks.

I've got to second this...I thought the same thing when I read "Brady Queer" on one list. It would be nice if people here didn't try to reinforce stereotypes about football fans as ignorant, immature bigots.Edit: Oh, and I can't stand Eli Manning...ever since he decided he was "too good" to play in San Diego and demanded a trade after getting drafted, I've just wished bad things for him. Like others have mentioned in reference to Crabtree, players who expect to be treated like kings before ever having played a down deserve nothing but contempt.

Philip Rivers. I can't think of one thing I like about Rivers.

Also I know he's not playing anymore, but Martin Gramatica.

Anyone who plays for the Patriots including the coaching staff. I don't care if they fall to me in the draft, I can't possibly have any of them on my team, I would rather lose.

Good calls.

"Hate" is too strong a word, but these are the guys who I can't endorse:

Eli Manning: "Hey, I'm about to be paid YUGE MONEY for being top draft pick, and I'll have my daddy help me get a better team."

Plaxico Burress: 'Nuff Said. Carry a loaded gun into a nighclub? Idiot.

Randy Moss: I still remember his Oakland days of not being a team player. Now that he's winning? Yeah, he's a model NFL player now.

Favre: I went from disliking him in the early Packers-Niners rivalry era, to finally respecting him as a guy that just loved to play. Now it's dead for me.

Warren Sapp (Yeah, I know he's retired) - Keep the mouth shut, please.

Michael Crabtree: Look guy, you haven't even played a single friggin down in the NFL. You were drafted where you were drafted. I don't give a rat's bum if you felt you should have gone higher - that's not your call. Sign your deal, and show them you deserve the money.

The irony is killing me. Someone from Texas, home of George W. Bush, the idea that "guns should be carried by everyone, cause it makes us all safe!!!", and electric chair central, calling other people mouth breathers! Sorry, must sit down for awhile and laugh while this all sets in.... ;) :potkettle:

Are you saying that all people from Texas are mouth-breathers because George Bush is one? You make no sense.

No, I actually have a lot of good friends from Texas. I just think that referring to others as mouth breathers is not only dumb, but really really ironic coming from someone that lives in such a backwards state. Take it as a joke, nothing more :excited:

I HATE Shaun Alexander, he reminds me of Kevin Duckworth of the Portland Trailblazers....

Soft and borderline chick.

I HATE HIM

If you know of Kevin Duckworth you know what I am talking about.

Jerramy StevensLeonard Little
Yea i've changed my opinion because i googled Jerramy Stevens and no one is even close to the scumbag. If you guys look into Stevens, you'll definitely agree. Raped a girl, couple of hit and runs, stomped a guy and broke his jaw after his boy hit the guy in the back of the head with a baseball bat. This guy has reached epic proportions of being a scumbag and should rot in hell.

Terrell Owens without a doubt, I'm not doubting his talent as I know he has it. He's just a baby on and off the field, and he complains way to much.

Tom Brady

I don't like Peyton Manning when he's playing, but I like him in commercials, but after about 2000 commercials I start to dislike him again... :-)

J Shockey (Even though he's from my home state. I guess Miami ruined him...)

Didn't care much for Eli at first, but he kind of earned a little respect in the Super Bowl. Played his butt of that day... Still there's no way to justify that new contract!

Roethlisburger- Just because he's a doosh.

Ray Lewis- Way to cover up a murder, guy.

Leonard Little- DUI= Involuntary manslaughter. Guess I'll drink and drive again. What could go wrong?

Without addressing the rest of this foolishness, I'll just say that I'm originally from the Boston area, and moved to Texas about a year ago. HTH.

David Carr. Worthless POS fooled Houston for years including paying him the roster bonus only to finally realize that he was pure garbage.

Oh, the stats Andre could have had with even a competant backup QB instead of that hack. They would have been staggering.

I think Chris Palmer should be the real target of your venom. He wasn't satisfied with ruining Tim Couch's career, so he moved on to Carr.

Obviously Manning is one of the greatest QBs to ever play, but the guy can make a mistake. Watch a Colts game this year and see if he gets criticized once during the entire broadcast. If he throws a pick the receiver ran the wrong route. If he dives to the turf because he is afraid to stand in the pocket and take a hit the offensive line did a terrible job. If he refuses to try to make a tackle after he throws a pick he is keeping the rest of the Colts season in mind. If he chews out another player during a game or throws his offensive line under the bus after a game he is showing true leadership qualities. Its nauseating.

I agree on all of these points. It's the same star treatment that many other players across the league get (though aside from Favre and Brady, perhaps not to the extent that Manning does). But I think your problem is probably more with the media itself than with Peyton Manning.

Mark Brunell.

He threw more balls into the dirt and into the stands than all other Redskin quarterbacks in history, combined. I'll never forgive him, never. When I see Brunell walking down the street I just go the other way. I shun him.

####### one-hopper POS.

Listen, all I'm trying to convey is that calling people "mouth-breathers" because they have an opinion that you don't like just isn't cool. It's a derogatory term used towards people that simply has no place in a message board posting meant to have some fun with "NFL people you hate". If you like Belichick, that's cool, but don't insult people because they are having fun with his tendency to tape opposing teams' signs' during games. Just do what the rest of us are doing and have a little fun with the topic.

long time lurker... but i had to register a forum account solely because i absolutely can't believe no one has mentioned the following waste of space here yet:

Donte Stallworth

I'm adding Santanio Holmes to my list

It one thing to show his flexed bicep after a Super Bowl winning catch, it quite another for him to show his bicep after every first down.

His act has grown tiresome.
