TJ with the Jets

Henry with the Broncos

Ahman with the Texans

Which one makes the biggest splash in his new home?

Fantasy wise, Henry to the Broncos obviously. NFL wise, TJ to the Jets.

Well, one thing we can get out of the way is that Ahman is clearly third on this list. Factors are age, injury history, and playing for a team which will still stink and has to pass a lot in the 2nd half of games. I'd take Henry well before Jones. Main reason being that I don't think Mike Bell is anything special, and Leon Washington will keep getting better, and he'll be a guy you have to get on the field, at least on 3rd downs.

Henry to the Broncos obviously.
Ideally I would agree with this. However, Shanahan has employed the RBBC the last few years and I'd be willing to bet he does so again (atleast somewhat) this year.TJ to NYJ is intriguing. I think this could be a good situation for TJ. The Jets needed a consistent bruiser last year and now have one (barring injury ofcourse...but all of the above RB's have injury concerns).Ahman Green to me is the least appealing. I foresee more of the same in Houston this year. They'll probably rotate RB's from week to week due to Ahman getting hurt or being ineffective.

I think TJ to the Jets has the most impact:

1. The Jones/Benson RBBC is now 2 starters.

2. Henry got an upgrade, but was it bigger than Benson's upgrade?

I said fantasy wise the choice is Henry, and NFL wise the choice is Jones. We all know Denver will trade Henry in a year or two anyway.

This theory has been debunked here quite a few times. When The Rat has a horse who is doing well, he sticks with him. The "committee" comes into play only when he has a three-headed ball of SUCK at running back.

Hmm, I think its alot closer between Jones and Henry than most I guess.

Based on talent alone, Id take Jones over Henry. Denver system is a proven system for rb success, Jets still developing under a new coach. Jets have 2 very talented, young o-lineman, Broncos have good o-line, not great.

I dont know, I think its pretty close

What about Tatur Tott in Det?
Assuming KJ makes it back sometime during the season, I doubt this will make more of an impact than the others. If anything, it'll add yet another frustrating committee situation. However, in Jones' absence (however long it is), and in Martz' offense, Bell will certainly have some starter-worthy games next year, esp. PPR.

as a Lions fan, what have you heard about KJ for the start of the 07 season?

One thing I never thought of until now... Dom Davis was VERY solid in PPR leagues due to all the receptions he got from Carr. Green has had a lot of success in the past as a dump-off/screen RB. That could be something to keep in mind.

Unfortunately I don't live in MI anymore, so I don't keep up on it as much as some. All I've heard is speculation so far. Some say maybe by start of season, others say by mid-season. With that type injury, I think it's still just way too early to tell. Hopin though!

Yes, I've heard he is ahead of schedule and that he said he will be ready by training camp.Lions president Matt Millen said Friday that the swelling in RB Kevin Jones' foot has gone down and he's begun doing "basic exercises."

"He wanted to get up and do some things," Millen said. "He felt pretty good. I'm encouraged by that now. The swelling is down. He was telling me that he'll be ready for training camp. Now, you don't know yet, but where we are right now, I feel pretty good."Source: Detroit News

I don't recall Green ever being a factor on 3rd downs in passing situations.I don't see any reason that would change at this stage of his career.

He averaged almost 4¼ receptions per game for his first three seasons in GB. That's not LT/Reggie/Westbrook levels of pass catching, but it's around 500 yards per year and a couple extra TD's.

The Jets need Thomas Jones a lot more then the Broncos need Henry. THat said, I expect Henry to have good numbers in Denver.

From a fantasy perspective

Henry has the best chance to significantly excede his totals from last year.

I expect both Jones and Green to be in the same neighborhood of their numbers last year.

Henry should run away with this. His talent, paired with the Denver system screams FFRB#1/#2. Jones is over-valued due to his playoff runs, do you see him break a tackle? Ahman may have a decent year left in the tank.

Green Bay was possibly the best screen play team in the league over the early years of Green's career. Ahman was a big part of that.Just throwing it out there. We all know Carr sucks, and has to dump the ball off a lot. Green might be a benefitiary.

No need to break a tackle if you can make them miss all together. He seems to be pretty shifty and quick to me (TJ that is).
