Which receiver in week one gets love from his QB? (1 Viewer)

I hear so many things about the receivers in Denver, Oakland, and Minnesota, with Denver only having a tue clear cut number one.

Do you believe Brandon Marshall will see a lot of tosses his way against Buffalo? Will Cutler just stay focused on Walker?

How about CPEP? Curry or Porter? Isn't Porter the more talented of the two?

How about TJax? Troy Williamson had hands of stone last year. Isn't Wade the number one there?

Which of these receivers really shows something this week?

I like Curry over Porter. I never really bought into the Porter hype even before he pouted all last year. Curry, meanwhile, was playing his butt off and really producing, especially late in the year for the worst team in the league. I'll take attitude over talent in this case.

Can't predict anything on Marshall yet, I think. Need to see some game action. And Denver might not pass that much week 1 anyway - could be the Travis Henry show.

Don't want to consider ANY of the Vikings WRs at this point.

Curry takes a back seat to no one in the athletic department. Played hoops for UNC, while quarterbacking the football team, then makes the NFL as a WR? Yeah, he's a good athlete.

Curry is a sexier pick than Porter right now, and was probably a better value in fantasy drafts.

But now drafts are over, and people are wondering where the ball is gonna go. Fact is, it's a big unknown. We have no idea which Culpepper will trot out there, or what kind of protection he'll get, or what kind of offense Kiffin is running, who he will feature.

I think it's most likely a 1A/1B situation there, with Curry a better play in PPR, as I think he is more comfortable in the possession role. I also think this will be especially true early in the season, as one conclusion you CAN draw from the preseason is that the Raiders will get the ball out of the QB's hand quickly (hopefully not through Daunte fumbles, but I digress). This would seem to benefit Curry over Porter, who has never shown the ability to be a chain mover.

A guy who is probably not rostered, but may be a nice sleeper, is Zach Miller, who has been getting raves all summer, and I think he'll be targeted in the red zone quite a bit.

Raider homer here advising that Curry is definately the better in PPR, possibly Porter in non PPR. The risk in Curry is health after having snapped achilles tendons in consecutive years. A full year removed gives me a warm and fuzzy though, and he can create space and make the 1st guy miss like very few in the league. Not too fast, but he's got some crazy jukes.

T.Jax likes Bobby Wade a lot. They beat M.Trufant over and over again a couple weeks ago. They are on the same page and have some good chemistry going. PPR, Wade will way outperform his ADP but the TDs could be very sketchy.

I haven't gotten to see Marshall w/Cutler, so I offer no opinion.
