The correct answer, by far, is that "neither record will be broken" is a favorite over each of the other choices, but that is boring so I voted for Faulk's yardage record.

Neither one will probably be broken but since LT's season average is essentially what's needed to break the yardage record that's the obvious choice. It would also be the capper on one the best seasons ever by a football player.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding this, but Faulk's record is total yards from scrimmage, in any form (rushing, receiving, passing)? If that's the case then LT needs just 309 in the next two games. The way he's been going he's got a real shot to get that.

It doesnt include passing yardage but does include both rushing and receiving

Right. If it included passing yardage then Faulk doesn't have the record. He's way behind Marino.

Actually, no. At least not to the question asked.
Which record is more likely to be broken?
LT might just have to get 320 this week so he can rest in week 17. The way Marty has been ensuring LT gets the TD record this year, shows me he'll do everything he can to get LT another record.

I follow the Chargers pretty closely and in one of the most recent interviews LT did, he says he is fresher this yearv than he has felt in his entire career. last year he had bruised ribs, the year before he had a groin tear. He said the way his body feels reight now going into week 16 is how his body feels at week 8 of other seasons. I am sure Marty likes to be the coach of record when he obliterates all these records and will keep him going. The only way Marty sits LT is to avoid injury and not to give him rest.
