Which rookie are you most looking forward to watching? (1 Viewer)

I'm looking forward to watching all of the following rookies:

Berry

McClain

Gresham

Best

Benn

Kindle

Clausen

Hardesty

I really want to see John Skelton. Can he be another Flacco and how will he pickup things. Leinart is so easy to beat out and my 2 dynasty leagues have such a premium on QB.

I'm looking forward to seeing how certain players I like turn out. Namely Jahvid Best, Montario Hardesty, Andre Roberts, and Mike Williams.

i'm interested in seeing if Demaryius Thomas with his freakish athleticism(and bones breaking while training) is more Calvin or David Boston. since i own Ruud i'm very invested in seeing how McCoy and Price play or shield and occupy OL from him. seeing if Earl Thomas can step in and be a playmaker is intriguing.........memory tells me many UT DB's take time to develop(of recent) if they ever do. i don't know if the raiders(huff), titans(griffin),giants(ross) are totally happy with the returns they've gotten thus far when those guys were pretty high profile.

I'm surprised to see so many people pick Bradford. I guess I want to see him as well, see him get sacked a lot. He's not very interesting to me.

big xii and cowboys fan here - absolutely ecstatic to see what dez bryant will do

next would probably be stafford

Amazing to me that there's 22 posts and only 1 mention of Spiller. Him "and not even close" for me.
:boxing:
To watch Spiller I would have to break one of my most important rules of watching good Football. Do not watch any offensive series by either Oakland or Buffalo. Just one of my rules. You would think that cutting out two entire offensive units would have a negative impact on my fantasy teams but so far that has not been the case.BTW the players I want to see are:Dez Bryant- as a Cowboy fan it isn't even close.Ryan MatthewsBestTateThat QB from Florida

2nd guy is Sam Bradford. He'll take his lumps in Year 1, but I think the guy will end up being special down the road. I'm just as interested in seeing how Laurent Robinson bounces back (as I believe he did have #1 WR ability -- something I think STL otherwise lacks).

Dez will definitely have his moments but probably a year/two away from a big time impact. I expect Austin/Witten to continue to shine in 2010 there.

I'll let someone else watch a Buffalo game & Spiller. Teams will surround Spiller (warranted or not) & then we'll get to see the Trent Edwards & Lee Evans show. Riveting stuff that'll put you on the edge of your seat. They've got a collection of QB's that probably wouldn't start in the UFL. Wouldn't be surprised if Rob Johnson chants started up there. How anyone in that organization watched last year thinks any of those QB's are NFL starting caliber is beyond me. Clueless organization here.

I'm not a fan of too many in this draft so Matthews, Best and Hardesty are my picks.

Interesting selection. I'll watch him too.

All of the Detroit Lion rookies, since I am from the metro Detroit area. Also:

Dexter Mccluster

Aaron Hernandez

Blair White

I feel they will all be better pro's then there draft status. :football:

Bradford (Rams homer)

Toby Gerhard (Another Mike Alstott?)

Jimmy Clausen (If he gets on the field watchout)
You know I'm a nutty ND fan, but I don't see much happening if he does see the feild. I think that Clausen has all the skills to be a great QB, but I think he'll be handing it off 50 times a game, throwing up 220 and 1 on a good day and taking the grind it out victory thanks to ultra conservative play calling...

I'm really looking forward to seeing Jimmy Graham. I don't expect a whole lot but I just want to see how NO might use him this year. I can see him winning some jump balls in the end zone.

You might be disappointed because I doubt Graham gets much playing time this year. Dave Thomas proved talented as well. I believe both Shockey and Thomas are FA after 2010.

He did say he didnt expect to see much of him this year, so i doubt he can be disappointed. I too am excited to see him play, he might be the most physically gifted TE from this draft class.

This has to be spiller. The guy has probably the highest upside of any RB in this class. He also looks like he could have one of the lowest floors.

His game is based on speed. If he isn't fast enough at the NFL level to make people miss, his career will be a short one.

I won't be disappointed because as I said, m y expectations aren't high. But, you may be wrong:
-- Sean Payton Says Jimmy Graham is Gifted -- Sun Jun 13, 2010 --from FFMastermind.com The Advocate reports New Orleans Saints HC Sean Payton said rookie TE Jimmy Graham has a “unique skill set,” and is “as gifted as you get at the tight end position.” Even though TE Jeremy Shockey and TE David Thomas are ahead of Graham on the depth chart, Payton’s use of multiple tight ends in various formations and QB Drew Brees’ penchant for sharing the ball with everyone, likely means Graham will have an opportunity to contribute right away. New Orleans will use its tight ends in traditional end-of-line formations, but also split them out wide and even line them up in the backfield as an H-back. “We do a lot with our tight ends,” Payton said. “We move them around a lot. We put a lot on their plate and make them responsible for a lot. He still has a big learning curve here, but just as far as pure talent and telling him to run this and get open, he can do it. I look forward to watching him develop. I think it’s important at that position when you look at the quarterback and the smaller windows and spaces they operate in and the routes from the outside. He’s a guy that I think provides a big target that we can take advantage of.”
