I'd have added NYG and Atlanta, but I voted for Carolina. That's a pre-season Super Bowl candidate.

My homer-ism precluded me from voting for Miami, but those would be the top two candidates, IMO.

On hindsight I probably shoulda added the Giants, but I don't think Atlanta needs to be up there. The majority of people weren't expecting a lot from them anyway, since Carolina was the big division and SuperBowl favorite from the NFC South.

I'm voting for Tampa Bay. Going from a division winner a year ago to 4 wins this year with basically the same personnel is pretty disappointing.

A lot of people have been picking Arizona to make the playoffs for the last two years. The most disappointing has got to be Pittsburgh though.

My Panthers just never seemed to Gel this year. Inconsistency at QB and the running game. The passing game suffered as a result of the poor running game.

The defense has been ok, but hasn't been playing inspired ball. It's hard to put a finger on it as a whole, but the team has definitely underachieved this season.

They need to look hard at the QB position for the coming years and develop a running game. I think they missed Stephen Davis more this year than anything else. Similar to the Steelers and Bettis IMO.
