Who are the most popular sleepers right now? (1 Viewer)

If he hasn;t been mentioned, I like both Burleson and Engram to significantly outproduce their ADPs - at least b/c I am firmly convinced that DJax has something seriously wrong with himself that he can't stay healthy and his recovery this year seems to be kinda slow. I'm scared as heck off of Djax.
Agree on Engram.

I knew you'd jump back in to defend Boston - that's why I made the comment.

I happen to agree with you - in fact, unless you are in a very deep draft or a very big league, Boston will probably go UNdrafted.

My fear in TB is Gruden's love of Cadillac - a 16-game Cadillac means not enough targets in TB for any WR not name Galloway. An injured Caddie and it's all bets off.

Who, in your opinion, are the most popular sleepers right now? I wanted to get a quick consensus for a thread to be made later.Don't worry about heavy analysis just yet.. just give me a short or however long list of who you consider to be sleepers.Guys that are going either at least a couple rounds under what you believe is their projected value (which makes anyone from the third round out viable), and also guys that are way deep down in the draft list.Let's hear 'em, and TIA.
Rookies- Jennings (Green Bay) - Should start season as #2 or maybe flanker- Basket (Phili) - Should start the season as #2 (serious injury last year)Veterans- Bruce (Rams) - looking very good so far (truf toe last year)- Boston (Tampa) - weight back to normal and Clayton has turf toe- Horn - Stallworth is looking bad and Horn working out a lot with Brees- Moulds & Carr (McCaffery type numbers?)- Kitna - 4000 yards & 35 tds (if he holds up)- Favre (how soon people forget)- Rhoades (until he gets injured)- #2 in Detroit- Gabriel (Oakland) - Stokely (talk about droping under the radar)- Brunell (Trent Green numbers under Sanders??)- C. Simms (Gruden is a pass oriented - Galloway/Boston/Clayton-Cadi)

Great list, I agree with almost all of these. Not a fan of Gabriel though, not sure if he can break into top 25 or so even if he ends up being the #2. I just don't think he's that talented. Other than that nice job IMO.

1. Rivers--LT, AG, will make him good

2. Moe Williams Rams--this guy will score a bunch of goal line TD's

3. Rhodes, Indy, I think he wins the job, as he knows the system, and seems to be running hard.

4. Toomer,--The one no one talks about in G-land

I have to disagree with Moe Williams...The Rams have a 235lb feature back with an ego the size of TOs, if Moe starts getting his TDs it will not be pretty at all. Linehan knows who his horse is and he will keep him happy.

QBs

Carr

Brees

Kitna

RBs

Houston

Gore

Dayne (in light of M. Bell situation)

T. Henry (Brown situation is getting uglier)

WRs

Cotchery (sp?)

Coles (he'll be forgotten till way later)

Burleson

Givens

Greg Jennings

Roddy White

TEs

Putzier

Daniel Graham

If Casey Printers can win the backup job he is a good sleeper candidate. Saw him play many times in the CFL and think he can get it done in the NFL too. Just a matter of answering the door when oportunity knocks.

there is no such thing as a 'featured' back in a Scott Linehan offense..never has been, probably never will be..he loves RBBC. only once in Linehan's nfl coaching career as an OC, has a RB scored double digit TDs - Moe Williams (10), and only once has a RB under Linehan's coaching rushed for over 1,000 yards in a single season, Mike Bennett ( ran for 1200+ yards but scored only 5 tds)Linehan seems to favor one RB between the 20's, and another RB in the redzone..this isn't a knock on SJax, because if he was playing for Parcells or Shottenheimer in SD, he'd easily rush for 1800+ yards every year..the coaching staff in St Louis loves RBBC..it's what they do best, and it's not likely to change just because they have a 'big' rb, imo. as for sleepers, I'll say Patrick Crayton tops my list of WR's, because if T.O. can't go full speed this year, Crayton will become a big target for Bledsoe..I'd also add Matt Jones, but he's not really a sleeper anymore, is he?Drew Carter in Carolina if Steve Smith's hammy problems continue..15 days and counting..Tim Carter , NYGiants, Toomer looks like he's running in mud, he still has something left in the tank, but it's time for someone else to step up..Lav. Coles, NYJets - did anyone see that pathetic Jets offense the other night? no rushing attack at all..if they don't trade for a RB, Coles is their #1 offensive weapon..Pennington repeatedly passed to him on Friday night. Five catches for Coles in what, 2 or three possessions? this is one to watch closely, imo, because if that running game doesn't improve, Coles is easily going to catch 90+ balls, or get hurt tryin'..lol
