Who are the top 10 WRs for NEXT year? (1 Viewer)

It looks like another year that I won't target the "top 10 wr's" as there are a lot of good wr's that you'll be able to get pretty cheap.
Like Donald Driver right? :goodposting: If you want the best you have to pay for the best.
I think a lot of it depends on your league. In my main league it's pretty easy to get even a top WR during the season through trading. It's all but impossible to get a top RB. For example I picked up both Housh and Fitz with trades this season. In other leagues it's a lot tougher.

You mean like the top 10 heading into the year? (current rank)1) CJ (8)2) S. Smith (17)3) Holt (12)4) Wayne (5)5) TO (2)6) Fitz (7)7) Harrison (50+)8) Roy W. (14)9) Evans (31)10) Boldin (22)So of the top 10 wr's 1 has exceeded their draft position (TO) and 3 in total are essentially +/= ADP (Wayne, TO, Fitz). On the otherhand the current top 10 (and their preseason ADP)1) Moss (12)2) TO (5)3) Housh (16)4) Edwards (21)5) Wayne (4)6) Welker (71)7) Fitz (6)8) CJ (1)9) Plax (17)10) Holmes (35)As of now and where I think wr's will fall, I'll end up targeting guys like Plaxico, Harrison, Colston, Holmes, Marshall, Evans, etc.Just like I targetted Edwards/Holmes this year...

Dwayne Bowe will be real close to cracking the top 10 if Croyle is any good.
 I was wondering why everybody was forgetting about him. He has put up outstanding numbers as a rookie and even missing a game.

How is CJ in your top 10 current?

:excited: Regular 1 pt/10 yards, 6 pts/td (he has 108 pts through today).

so Welker is a fluke? He's no 6 in my league, he's young and Brady loves him. Why do you think he drops out of the top 10 next year.
Welker needs to be at least considered for the bottom of the top 10. Maybe even more.01. R. Moss02. R. Wayne03. A. Johnson04. T. Owens05. S. Smith06. T. Houshmandzadeh07. B. Edwards08. W. Welker09. L. Fitzgerald10. C. JohnsonI'm sure it'll look nothing like this, but it's a start.

I'm not necessarily saying I think he's going to be top 10 next year, I'm suprised that Brandon Marshall hasn't had more votes. He hasn't had a ton of TD's, but he's been extremely consistant. This guy impresses me every time I watch him play. Cutler is emerging, and Marshall is becoming a very trusted target. Even his blocking is fine. :ptts:

minus injury, I'm curious why so many completely left Andre Johnson off their lists.

Has Shaub not shown he can make Andre a beast?

I think there's a young turk who is quietly making some noise this year & could well surprise us with a top 10 showing next year.

I say quietly making some noise because he missed a fair few games with a high ankle sprain. However, since he's come back from that injury, with a good QB chucking the rock, in a pass friendly offense, he's been nothing but consistent.

DJ Hackett.

Does Steve Smith stay near the top? Does TJ move ahead of Chad? Where does Andre Johnson land? Is Harrison off the list? Here's mine. :goodposting:1. Randy Moss2. Andre Johnson3. Steve Smith4. Reggie Wayne5. TJ Houshmanzadeh6. Braylon Edwards7. Terrell Owens8. Larry Fitzgerald9. Chad Johnson10. Roy Williams
Boldin and Fitz are always in top 10s. I don't see how you break them up really. (reply to other posts)Roy and Calvin haven't found a way to play great the same game yet so I don't think you can put that duo ahead of the other.I think Chris Henry is auditioning for another team and will be on this list in 2008. I'd like to see Randy's attitude after (assuming)winning. Plenty of players have "rested on their laurels" and he's had some attitude issues before.Steve Smith CAR may be there in theory but he's a later pick now in FF. One of the types that people will talk about but when it comes time to draft we figure out he's not truly in their top 10. Can't help but think you'll be burned for not putting Marvin in your top 10. GB Him and all his effort over the years for making me think that way. You might be right.I feel like Holt's gotta be there even if 10.

Brandon Marshall is superior in all facets of his game to Bowe. To top that off his QB is superior. Larry Fitz won't be near in the top 10 because Leinart will be back and he is weak as a QB. His numbers will suffer.

;) He's just not fresh in people's minds. When next year's preseason rolls around, and he and Shaub are healthy as can be, he will be in EVERYONE's top ten list, and most people's top five. To justify taking somebody like Chad, Harrison, or Holt over him is utter madness. And Bowe or Marshall? Nooooooo. Will people actually be taking Smith in the top three without Delhomme throwing him the ball? Really??

My question is will NE pay the price to resign Moss? Will he come back because of the chance to win and happiness, for a lower salary or will he take the $$ and go to an inferior team.

We all know that NE has the record of not wanting to pay its valued players (excluding Brady) but will they recognize what Moss brought to the team and pay him his value as the #1 WR in the league and perhaps the MVP??
