He'll definitely be the starter at the start of the regular season.I don't think you got a starter in Fargas.....he is the 3rd best RB on their rosterFargas in round 10.Rarely can you get a starting RB that late.

I think I would refer to him as the "starter" at the start of the regular season. His upside is no better than Fred Taylor running alongside MJD, in my opinion....but it seems like everyone expects McFadden to get every opportunity to get the lion's share of the carries. Fargas is definitely not worthless, but definitely nothing more than a low tier RB3 (barring a McFadden injury or very poor McFadden play, of course). He'll definitely be the starter at the start of the regular season.I don't think you got a starter in Fargas.....he is the 3rd best RB on their rosterFargas in round 10.Rarely can you get a starting RB that late.
I had the 10th (last pick) in my draft. I took Brees and Barber (Brady, Manning, Romo were gone) and I was hoping for Jamal Lewis by the 3rd round. Lewis was there, but I saw more value in taking a fallen Braylon Edwards, and coincidentally Jamal Lewis fell to me again in the 4th. I know you can get selvin young much later than 4th or 5th, he's got upside but there is risk surrounding the amount of carries he'll get.In your last draft who did you think was the best value pick you made. Pick one player from your most recent draft, give the round/position you drafted him and why you think it was a steal. I haven't had any of my drafts yet, but was hoping to use the information to get a jump on some good value sleepers.
Nice one the way it is looking right now. It would be nice if everyone replying in this thread included the date of their draft as it is tough to judge how good/lucky a pick may have been without knowing the date (last week vs this week even makes a big difference in some situations).Chris Perry in the 19th round back in May for one of my initial dynasty drafts.
No kidding. I got him as the 25th WR a month ago. Now he's going 14-18. Boew when I can get him as a #3 WR, but he's been moving up too.Damn training camp reports.Calvin Johnson in round 5 in more than one draft. A lot of people refuse to do early drafts because of injury and/or some other uncertainty, but there are some definite advantages. Calvin will not go past the mid 3rd from here forward.
$1 waivers O'Sullivan$1 RFA in april (before the rookie draft) Brett Favre in 2 leagues. 1 from a Packer fan. I guess that retirement speech was convincing, but declining $1 to match? Two QB league - JT O'Sullivan in the 16th. Oh yeah!
So you did not have a 4th, 5th or 6th pick to get him?haha, cmon dude, why would i make up something like that? i waited and he got to me. nothing else to it. I am very happy>I have to cry some serious B.S. here... why didn't YOU grab him earlier than that!honestly, i have no idea. We don't have a separate draft for Rookies. We throw them in with everyone. McFadden went 1.01 (after all keeps were declared) and then no rookie was taken until Stewart in 7th round. I am stoked. I was sure he'd go in the 2nd or 3rd round.Yeah that's crazy value. How the heck did he fall that far...jonathon stewart. rd 7 of keeper. may not be value to some, but in my league it is gold.![]()

Without Manning, that is about the right value. That is why I think he slipped...10 team league last week.
Addai at 1.08
A. Johnson at 3.08
Took some serious skill to sit back and have them slip to me. Steals nonetheless!!!

I can't imagine who these other owners are drafting if ROY goes for the equivalent of a 7th and jennings the equivalent of a 9th.Your administration probably frowns on you conducting a fantasy league in your pre-school class.ya, but i grabbed roy williams, winslow and jennings to fill out the rostermlavwilson said:So you did not have a 4th, 5th or 6th pick to get him?haha, cmon dude, why would i make up something like that? i waited and he got to me. nothing else to it. Not really sure what you mean. The league isn't a traditional dynasty. We get to keep 3 and the following year we get them at the same round. The 3rd year they become a top 3 pick . 1st, 2nd, or 3rd depending on how many points they score. Basically, what I am saying is that some guys in the league stay away from rooks, while others like to grab them much earlier, hence McFadden in the 1st). Anyways, that's all i got.
the way we have our keepers valued per round makes it interesting. to answer your question...roy was the 17th person drafted after our 30 keepers were declared. It's not that crazy. Kellen also went right around his ADP. Ill admit Jennings fell too far, but my league hates Jennings (no favre).BassNBrew said:I can't imagine who these other owners are drafting if ROY goes for the equivalent of a 7th and jennings the equivalent of a 9th.thehornet said:BassNBrew said:Your administration probably frowns on you conducting a fantasy league in your pre-school class.thehornet said:ya, but i grabbed roy williams, winslow and jennings to fill out the rostermlavwilson said:So you did not have a 4th, 5th or 6th pick to get him?haha, cmon dude, why would i make up something like that? i waited and he got to me. nothing else to it.
