Thanks, Brett Favre. Not for week 16, but for everything you did for me all year. And last year, too. Drafting you later allowed me to shore up other positions first, and that's where your real value lies. I also didn't need to carry a backup except for bye weeks. That's like an extra roster spot.

Much love for Freddy T. His 1st and only start for me... week 16. Well worth the draft pick.. followed the plan and created my own luck. After a decade of ffball. I've always been a playoff team. Now I have seasoned vision... and damn you Freddy T.. thank you for making me look good!!!!

What is amazing about this thread is that it is fully of Portis/Jacobs/RyGrant/McNabb/Cotchery/Boldin/SSmith and NOT SJax/LT/Brady/Moss/Romo/TO...
Winning teams seemed to be made up of a bunch of guys that typically underperformed this year (or were Waiver Wire steals).
There's alot of threads about FF being luck...I think it might have something to do with sitting on players patiently or working the wire hard all season to make up for the inevitable injuries.
I am thinking there's alot of 'really good teams' drinking the Hatoraid today when their studs lost to our 'bad-news bears' teams (I played a team with Palmer, Ocho Cinco, ADP, Addai, Andre Johnson and figured I was sunk!)
