Who do you think is overrated going into 2013? (1 Viewer)

Frustrating thread, some good gut thoughts, but we might as well not draft anyone, I think the top 10 qbs were all listed here as don't draft stay clear...

Oh well

I still like d Thomas, will think his production will not suffer he's the deep threat and go to guy for planning, welker will battle decker for leftovers..

Hard to not like lynch, guy is just a full beast still

I do agree on s jax he scares me this year, I'll need a good pre season showing to turn it around for me

I flip flop on d Wilson I had him last year and believed in his talent, but I do think he will be challenged by brown for a lot of carries, but I think the d will be bad and Eli and the entire o will be on the field a lot playing catchup...

I think stafford is priced right

Also think kapermick is priced right, in fact might be a tad cheap,

As much as I would like to discount r Wilson, I think the guy is awesome, and want him on my team

I agree on luck, love his durability and running ability, but think he will put up about what he did last year

I cannot agree on dbrees, Peyton loves to rub it in, drive up the score and throw all the time, Ingram is not a bellwether back, he will still put up massive stats

I am cooling on a Rodgers, I do think the injuries piling, the rbs in tow now, might lead to a slight down tick, but like Peyton, McCarthy cannot help himself, he loves to throw it..

Brady, knee aside, I think will be rock solid, the guy is so dang good...

I'm a little worried about McCoy, bloom loves him this year, but those concussions really scare me, and I don't know how Kelly's o will gel with his game, and again, concussions really worry me...

I'm concerned about b Marshall, I think trestman will try to spread it around more, and I do worry about Marshall's hips some...

I think last year might have reached his peak.. I find myself not trying to draft him in most mocks

I feel that Russell Wilson is being drafted a bit too high based on the facts that he did not gain any new offensive weapons (Harvins out), and the Seahawks have a powerhouse defense which should keep most of their games low scoring. No need for 4th Qtr heroics or big passing numbers. I think he is a stud for the game but nowhere near the stud for fantasy.

As a Seahawks homer I highly agree.

Not that I'm predicting the same career and numbers, but I do see Wilson being more of a game manager early in his career and then come on strong as a passer later in similar fashion to Tom Brady. But this year and the year after are not going to be great years for him overall. That's why I'm sitting in dynasty until 2014 or 2015 and I'll buy much lower than where he is today. Or I'll totally miss the boat--it's hard to say.

Andre Brown, see David Wilson threads.

All Denver RB's, see Denver RB threads. One will prevail, but who knows at this point who that will be. Crapshoot. At this point even Knowshon is overrated at the bag of peanuts pricing he's going for.

For that matter, all Denver receivers, at least one will break through and more likely two, but who? Even more crapshoot thanks to Welker.

Adrian Peterson is a beast ####er, I mean ####ing beast. No way I bet against that guy. Ive picked him whenever I possibly could ever since his rookie year, and I will never doubt him.

Agreed on the mentions of Russell Wilson and Luck. I will gladly take Tony Romo after both of them.

What's funny is you have to be a fool to doubt this guy after he was doubted coming back from an ACL and running for 2k. Saw Peterson fall to the 5th round of redrafts last year. WTF? He could have a missing leg and I would still draft him #1 overall.

Wow you guys are listing quite a few of the guys on my Dynasty team. Anyway please be aware of people tending to take misspoken threads to use in their signatures.

I have R. Cobb, and believe hes got just as good a shot at top five as a few other players. But lets not forget GB has ex-GB backups starting (or playing) for other teams. My point: The ball may be spread around more GB is probably one of the few teams who could put five WR's on the field w a QB who can hit em in stride. I believe GB may have reason to play some of these WR's too (Jones could regress, injury's etc. not to mention the loss of two Studs) GB and the fans would like to know what they got w the game on the line.

I also drafted Millertime in the 2nd last Season, and while the Coach wants one RB to run the show. (That's a lot to expect from a Vet, much less a young player) Obviously Im thinkin Miller and the Coaching staff know what their doin, but if Miami goes shopping after a few wk's Rut Roh

Also speaking of overrated, when will Luck get this tag? I mean its his 2nd yr, and now he gets a running game to boot. Its possible that the Colts D is improved, but more likely Luck needs to start the game like hes behind. (this is the time, I post should be first QB taken, but I wont to avoid sidetracking the thread) I just get the feelin that hes not hyped as much as deserved

Now I don't have D. Wilson, and Im hoping to not influence your choice's in the least. But I seen the fumbles, and know the Coach wasn't happy. Brown, and or Cox could be lotto tickets imho
Oh for the love of God not this #### again.

How many fumbles did you "seen"? Please, tell us about all of them.

I... wait... what? Seriously, if I read one more person writing about David Wilson's fumbling causing him to hit Coughlin's doghouse I'm going to cry. The guy really has zero fumbling issues to make note of last year. The guy had one fumble in like 132 touches? That's an average of a fumble every 0.0075 touches. You know who has a higher percentage than that? Ahmad Bradshaw who averaged a fumble every 0.012 touches last season. Guess who was never put in the doghouse cause of fumbles? Ahmad Bradshaw.

i think its more of protection issues than fumbling at this point, but I think D Wilson is one of those Lotto tickets this year as well... think CJ Spiller last year...

Spiller was going in the 8th round last year. Wilson going in the 3rd is totally different.

Every Tight End after Rob Gronkowski (who I'm also not touching)

Graham or Witten, or I'll see you in the 12th round. Vernon Davis, Kyle Rudolph, Dennis Pitta before the injury, and even Tony Gonzalez all just crazy overvalued. I'll happy watch my leaguemates take all of these guys, and collect the value at RB and WR that results.

I'll just throw one out there. Cam Newton. I'm sure he'll be top 10. Wimer is probably right on with 7th QB. I just don't think he's a top 3 QB. Obviously his rushing yards/TD's will help, but not enough IMO.

I have to admit I was wrong, and for all intents and purpose's could still be wrong..

Brown, and or Cox Ive picked up DaRel Scott, but it cost me Keenan Allen too.

p.s. I don't always like posting my two cents, mainly because I know some play for Big money. ( personally I just love Football!)
