Who do you WANT to play in the super bowl? and why? (1 Viewer)

Dal - Because of how putrid every (with good reason) said their D was (Fingers crossed for a shut out in the SB because of that)

Pit - if they win in NE and win SB (1st time to win with a win against NE in playoffs)

Indy - with a Win in NE and take the SB (Luck wins Play off game in NE which Peyton has not done)

Sea - Back to Back is pretty rare

Car - Losing record team to a SB winner

Ari - No 4 QB winning SB

Det - Cuase they play some interesting games
Did you watch any football this weekend?
That i did. Only saw this thread after games were done. Better late than never...

One thing i would add is:

Indy - with a Win in NE and take the SB (Luck wins Play off game in NE which Peyton has not done). Win over Manning in Den and Brady In NE then Win over Rogers and GB
That'd be one hell of a "passing of the torch" run for the QB position.

Or, alternatively, a different QB from the same class beats Manning one year for the crown, then beats Rodgers and Brady the following year for his 2nd ring in three years, and nobody talks about passing the torch to him because he doesn't get a lot of attempts. If we're hypothesizing, that is.

No disrespect to Wilson intended. It may end up 10 years from now this same thread discussing Wilson/Luck where Luck has all the numbers and Wilson has the championships.

Aside from the athleticism, I see a lot of similarities between Wilson and Brady. Wasn't highly touted coming out. Wasn't expected to start, but played better than anticipated. Strong running game and defense make his play seem more complementary, but when needed can make all the plays to win the game.
