Yeah, I don't think I've been with a girl who ordered a gin and tonic. In my circle, the girls are drinking vodka/cran, vodka/tonic and vodka/soda when it comes to hard liquor. The guys are drinking a variety - scotch, bourbon, gin, vodka. The girls aren't ordering gin.

Big on vodka and tonics - #1 drink for me. Not crazy about the taste of gin AND it comes out my pores the next morning. I smell like a ####### Christmas tree.Notorious T.R.E. said:We don't want you.[icon] said:I just can't get into gin... may have to give this another go, though.![]()
Yep. Tanqueray and Tonic in my twenties. Switched to vodka afterwards.Gin and tonic was probably my favorite drink in my twenties. All of my friends and I used to order it.
I think Sloe Gin is the girl drink. Maybe things have changed (I once thought that even a basically straight gin martini was a bit girly, and changed my mind as soon as I had one).
A Gimlet is a very underappreciated drink, if made correctlyPrefer a Gimlet rocks but a G&T on a hot day is mighty soothing

you prefer that to some of the others, like Hendricks and Boodles?ydoc said:has to be tanqueray....
I've personally never seen it, but the only woman I know of that drank gin was my wife's grandmother. In her 70's/80's gin was her morning drink (then Virginia Gentleman bourbon after noon).moleculo said:I've only seen one woman drink gin, and she was well over 80 at the time.
So I voted neutral.
