Who else is pumped for Monday Night tonight (1 Viewer)

I sure am

Heres to a good game between the Bengals and Patriots. :lmao: While I suspect that the Patriots will pull it out, you never know with Ocho Cinco on a Monday night - I suspect he's gonna blow up for about 150 yards and two TDs to keep the game close.

Can't wait :ptts:

I'm fired up too. came out from boston to visit a buddy and go to the game tonight. asante samuel should keep 85 in check most of the night. i think Housh will have the better game. kenny watson could surprise as well.

I'm afraid this will be a Patriots blow out early and Housh and 85 will be on the bench most of the 4th quarter with little to play for. If the Bengals don't put up a lot of numbers in the first half, I don't think the key fantasy guys on the Bengals will end with very good stats.

and in case you're thinking this is Pats homerism, I'm actually a Dolphins fan.

I don't think the Pats will have to "pull it out" to win this game. I expect some big offensive numbers, but mostly from the Patriots. I have Carson Palmer and a 45+ point lead going into tonight, so it should be an enjoyable evening. If I can win my MNF poker game to boot, all will be good in my world. New England, 38-24.

When you're passing like crazy to catch up it's those guys that you must lean on the most!I have a huge lead going into the game and we both have a few players so I shouldn't have to worry unless Welker and Housh get shut out of the stat box. Hopefully a high flying game.

I certainly am pumped. Going into last night's game I thought I was done this week, trailing by 2 points but McNabb and Curtis got zero points for my opponent. So tonight I have Welker and Morris going against Maroney for my opponent. Down by 2 I am hoping to pull this thing out. Go Pats, except Maroney. :goodposting:

Not to bumb you out but I think Maroney's in for a big night. He's going to get 100 plus yards and a TD. I don't see Cinci being able to shut down the run tonight.

I had a 14 point lead with me being done and my opponent with Stallworth (AJ hurt and S. Moss on bye) and Mcnabb.

McNabb gets him 4 points (romo got me 45) so now I have a 10 point lead with just Stallworth to play. He has Caulpepper on the bench who scored him 35 points.....I wouldn't have pulled the trigger with Cpepper over McNabb either, not after what I saw in Detroit last week.

With that said.......it appears to me that somehow the Giants have clamped down a bit on defense. They've played well vs. Campbell and now shutting down McNabb the past 2 weeks.

 Patriots win by at least 20 pts... This one is going to be ugly

I don't see the Bengals scoring more than 14 points in garbage time against the Patriots defense, which may turn out be the best in the NFL this year. Teams are only averaging about 200 yards/game against them right now.

I just need Housh to outscore Gostkowski in my PPR league. 40+ yd FG's are worth 5 pts though and 50+ yarders are worth 7. I figure I have an 80% chance or so of winning. If I lose, I will be bummed. I shouldn't lose, but I'm always nervous.

Maybe you forgot about the committee here and he is questionable. I am reading there is a chance if warmups don't go right that he isn't even playing.

From Rotoworld:

The Boston Herald reports Laurence Maroney (groin) is shaping up to be a game-time decision on Monday night.

We never saw Maroney get hurt during last week's game and he was present for the media portion of practice all week. But the Herald reports that some around the team thought Maroney might be downgraded to out. Have Sammy Morris, Kevin Faulk, or Kenny Watson on stand by if at all possible. The inactives for Monday night will be posted roughly an hour before game time. Sep. 30 - 9:50 pm et

I haven't forgot but obviously if he doesn't go, he's not going to get any points. Cinci's linebackers are dinged up and will be no match for NE's offensive line. Whoever's running the ball the majority of the night will be in for a good night.

Nervous as I can be... I lead by 77 points, but my opponent has Brady and Moss, who have averaged about 60 points a week in my league together.

I'm up by 40 and have CJ.

He has Randy Moss, Gostkowski and Sammy Morris (yes, he was that desperate).

I like my chances! Go Bengals!!!

Morris is a great play. I think this is going to be a tight battle if Moss goes off. Not sure how your scoring works but Moss scored a 40 this year already in my league and a kicker and morris should be able to tie CJ unless he break a long one.

I know I am. I have a chance to win money again through turf wars in the night bracket ( i blew the other brackets lol )

TJ has a 12 point lead over Moss and NE Def. I need Cinci to sell out on Moss and let all the scoring come elsewhere (except D/ST points). Yeah, I'm nervous. :lmao:

Forgetting about what I may or may not need FF-wise, this is the kind of game I love from just a football fan perspective.

A dominant team looking to stay dominant and undefeated; a must win game for a team at the bottom of their division and in a two game losing skid.

Tons of talent on both sides of the ball to make this a fantastic offensive game. I hope Palmer is able to exploit some weakness in the Pats D to keep this game interesting all the way through four quarters.

Maroney will start (just heard it) and run hard. Welker will get the points you need. Enjoy the game. Fear all Patriots!

Pats are on national TV, so I don't need to go to the bar and watch them on a TV with the sound off.

Heck yeah I'm pumped! :D

Sammy Morris will get at least 125 rush, 55 rec, 2td.

TONS of mop up yards in the 4th Q, with the game well in-hand.

maybe tonight starts a RB controversy in NE...??

I see this game turning into a shoot-out. Cincy is by FAR the most capable offense the Patriots have faced at this point. The Chargers are a complete mess. If the D shows up tonight, I might be ready to crown their asses. I just hope Cincy doesn't let them off the hook.
