Ive always called it the hood.

Isnt it insulting to call it the ghetto?

You are free to learn hoops or to rap and then come and go as you please.

Some people think DC is a ghetto. My kids were born in NE DC. I was born in NW DC which is rarely referred to as ghetto.

I have a good friend who grew up in the heart of Englewood here in Chicago. Made it out and is now a Chicago cop.

Grew up on the East Side of St Paul. Not ghetto per se. St Paul is an odd town. One block can be decent, the next, not so much.

My elementary school was surrounded by the projects.

Is this near the healthy McDonald's, reasonably priced Disney Store, and the lost city of Atlantis?

I was born in a cave, raised by wolves
I was born in a desert, raised in a lion's den.

I say I was born in a desert, raised, in a lion's den.

My number one occupation

is stealing women from their men.

Well the doctor called me crazy, some say I am some say I ain't.

I said the doctor called me crazy, some say I am some say I ain't

Preacher man called me sinner,

but his little girl she called me saint.
