Payton against the Titans or Drew against the Bucs for the record.

Brees is currently 14 completions away (Peyton Manning is 17 away) from breaking the NFL record for completions in a season. The record is 440 and is currently held by Drew Brees.

Unless INT's are marked as completions, Peyton will take the record against the swiss cheese Titan's secondary.
Check Mannings interceptions. He isnt far off where Brees is. Manning has thrown 17 picks and Brees has 21. That is a wash IMO. Neither QB has had much of a decent running game this year which is why the higher interceptions. The defense knows you are throwing 80% of the time then they will get theirs.

17 vs 21 isn't a wash. Four interceptions is as many as some QBs throw in a whole year.

I say its a wash considering the flow of the games and outcomes of those games. Statistically perhaps not.

Manning probably has a few more pick sixes than Brees.
