Of course it's gonna be a landslide. I think I'll start a poll, Who was better Walter Payton then or Wali Lundy now.The choice is George then or Benson now?Should be about a hands down landslide.
Direct the " :11: " remarks towards Ryan21, not the OP of the thread.Where do you guys get your information from? Eddie George only averaged over 4 YPC two years out of his whole career, both years were 4.1 and 4.1, he also had a year at 3.9. Every other year he played he averaged 3.7 or less, mostly less. And 50 balls a year? Dude, this stuff is not hard to look up bro. George had 2 years in his career where he was close to 50. 1999 he had 47 catches, 2000 he had 50 catches, every other year was way less, he had years with reception totals of 7,9,22,23, and a few mid 30s, but his career average for receptions per year is only 29.7. Benson is on pace for 30-35 catches this year and they dont even use him on third downs much. Is there any other way that you can try to explain how Eddie George was "elite" and Benson is "less than average?"
You are just a troll with no valuable information. And your poll is worthless tardo, b/c Ive never said Benson is better "now" than George was then, rather that Benson is an NFL calibur RB, and that George was NOT "elite' yet he still had a long and productive career.Direct the " :11: " remarks towards Ryan21, not the OP of the thread.Where do you guys get your information from? Also, I was just wondering why do you hate someone so much? Better question is why do you apologize so much for him, I'm pretty sure you're in the minority thinking Benson is a great NFL running back.Actually the fumble in the Superbowl doesnt count because post season stats dont count, but Im sure you knew that right. And I didnt realize he was the first player to ever sprain his knee in the Superbowl and have to sit out. And if his O-lineman dont want kidney bruises then their soft old asses need to push the line and open up some holes and get the hell out of the way. Nobody can run through a brickwall.
Why would you think he stole my girlfriend, did he tell you he cheated on you? Also, I was just wondering why do you hate someone so much? Not at all. I find the poll ludicrous myself.Just tired of hearing people equate poor rushing yards per carry to a NFL great like Eddie George.I don't get this thread. Are you, in some fit of insanity, saying that Benson and George are potentially equal in ability? This thread should be locked. Absolutely absurd.
