Who is Rothy tossing to on Thursday? (1 Viewer)

Its really hard to say because the weather may hinder the passing game! Plus I dont see Clev building a lead forcing Pitt to have to throw the ball! But I too wonder who will get the passes from Roths.....

Washington has my vote.

Ever notice that a lot of FBGs shorten players name by always adding a "y" to the end?

Agreed. If I played in a league that treated TEs as WRs and I had Miller, Washington and Holmes -- I would start Miller.

I say Santony. I think with Hiney out, he will play the slot. Milly could have a good game too, he is more familiar with Rothy. Washy might see a couple long balls thrown his way, Cowy like a spread offense, so I think it would be hard to lock down one WRy.

Santonio has my vote! What do you think?
Heath Miller
All the Steeler homers here said this last week, Heath+Santonio...what happenned? The draft is over, who cares what round Santonio was drafted, Washington is doing better.

Heath scored a TD last week. I'll take that over Nate's 78 yards.Washington had a better day last week than Holmes but their numbers for the season are pretty close.

Holmes 33-504, 1 TD

Washington 30-513, 3 TDs

I guess you could say that Washington is doing better but he's been on the field more than Holmes. The 3 TDs are nice but he has dropped 3 TD passes in the endzone this season (and they were easy catches he dropped).

Personally I think Holmes is better than Washington but neither one is going to make you forget Hines Ward.

Has Heath Miller ever had over 60 yards and 5-6 catches in a game? I know he had one great game vs the Dolphins this year, but It seems like he's just used as a blocker.... Is this the week he does well? He normally does poor against Cleveland?

Also who will Bodden be lined up on, Washington or Holmes?

Washington has had quite a few targets of late, even with Ward in the lineup.

With Wilson and Ward out.. Who will step up,

Clev's pass d is very good and it should be a bad field to play on.

16th is very good? Don't think so. That makes them AVERAGE. Bad field AT HEINZ FIELD. Advantage: Steelers.Miller will step up. So will Krieder & FWP. Along with Holmes & Nate. Don't worry... it will be another bad day in Pittsburgh for the Brownies!

If he accepts people calling him that, it's more like "what" is he tossing, and I'd say "salad."

If you need shorthand, try the same # of keystrokes with "Roeth."

Local reports seem to suggest that they were throwing a lot more screens to FWP in practice this week.
