Bob Cousy - 1x MVP, 6x NBA Champ; played in the 50's on a stacked team.
Steve Nash - 2x MVP, no rings, phenomenal passer, great shooter, terrible defender
John Havlicek - 1x Finals MVP, 8x Champ, great defender, efficient scorer. Better than Pippen.
George Gervin - 4x scoring champ, walking bucket with no rings or MVPs
Kawhi Leonard - 2x Finals MVP, 2x DPOY, when healthy plays at an MVP level. Has missed a ton of time in his prime. Best peak player on the list.
Jason Kidd - 1x Champ, #2 all time in assists and steals. Very good for a very long time, but never an MVP level guy.
George Mikan - 5x champ. The first superstar, played in era with actual peach baskets.
James Harden - 1x MVP, best pure scorer on the list, but also best flopper and turnstile on defense.
Patrick Ewing - Excellent defender, efficient scorer, played against some great C's and held his own... probably underrated by most. Still with no big accolades or rings, not quite ready here.

I personally am debating between Nash, Leonard & Havlicek. My heart says Hondo, because he was my dad's all-time favorite player and I loved his style, but I'm leaning towards Kawhi due to the 2 DPOY & Finals MVP's. Leonard is an all-timer and belongs on this list sooner rather than later. Nash's 2 MVPs are huge, but there just isn't much else on his resume.

i cant stand james harden absolutely hate him but the idea that isaah thomas is better than him is so laughable that it hurts take that to the bank brohans

I concur. Isaiah should be below everyone on this list but Ewing (and maybe him...at least he made the Dream Team).

I went ahead with Kawhi Leonard.

I think he is the best player on this list and while he's never snagged an MVP, at his best he's closer to MJ than anyone else has ever been.

I see Cousy is ahead which surprises me, but I don't have a big problem with it.

Same

I have Kawhi and Nash both significantly higher than where they are falling here.
I concur.

I also include Havlicek in there and I don't think people realize how great he was and how critical he was to the dynasty of the Celtics. They have at least 4 fewer championships without him. He was THE key player to the team in the late 60's and 70's and is the first real "glue guy" in NBA history. He literally did and was good at everything. I wasn't kidding when I said he was better than Pippen because he was every bit as good defensively but even better offensively than Pippen ever was and by all accounts a better teammate. I think people assume he was just hanging on to Russell and Cousy, but he played only 1 season with Cousy and 7/16 years with Russell. He didn't reach his peak until around age 30 which was all after Russell retired. He was also incredibly durable and led the league in minutes played twice. In his final season at age 37 he played 34.1 mpg, played in all 82 games and averaged 16/4/4.

In our all-time draft 2 years ago, he went #26.

this is 100 percent correct hondo was amazing won a national title at ohio state and was all that and a bag of chips for the celts the fact that he isnt above isaah thomas is a farce and a travashamockery take that to the bank brohans

id also add that the cous was about four hundred times the player of isaah tomas i mean all cous did was make the all star team 13 times and win an mvp both of those are more than whatever pantload won just sayin take that to the bank bromigoss

I went with Cousy because he was in the movie Blue Chips and didn't miss a shot....while even making one left handed.

How Cousy ended up on the Celtics is pretty amusing.

Boston passed on him with the #1 pick in the 1950 draft and took Chuck Share. He went 3rd to the Tri-Cities Blackhawks and had no interest in playing for them so he decided to open a driving school instead. He was then traded to the Chicago Stags, who promptly folded. Three of their players went into a dispersal lottery and Cousy ended up on the Celtics, who were super pissed they didn't get Max Zaslofsky or Andy Philip instead (sure those guys will be coming up in these polls any day now).
