Decided to go with Mikan here. Tough to rank over various ERA's but he did cause rule changes like removing goaltending and widening the lane (The Mikan Rule). That deserves some credit at this stage of the proceedings. Also, due to teams stalling to keep the ball away from him led to the shot clock as well
