With so many injuries and RBBC's out there heading into the fantasy playoffs...... The waiver wire is full of options and many teams own 2 or 3 of these guys and need to pick one to ride to fantasy glory.

Who do you think is the stud to ride for the fantasy playoffs in this stack of RBs with potential? and why?

Of this bunch... I really like Ivory.... Pierre Thomas is a great unknown with his return. I don't see why the Saints would want to rush PT or Bush back into a large role. I think that leaves Ivory with the advantage in this group on a team that just seems to live near the goal line. The one big problem is in round 2 of the fantasy playoffs where they face the Ravens.... but you wonder if the Ravens will really be worried about run and moreso about D Breezy and that passing attack.... seems like the carries and yard will be there and the potential for easy TDs as well.

From the beginning of James Stewart's career in 1935 through his final theatrical project in 1991, he appeared in 92 films, television programs and shorts. Through the course of this illustrious career, he appeared in many landmark and critically acclaimed films, including such classics as Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Rear Window, The Spirit of St. Louis and Vertigo. His roles in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, The Philadelphia Story, It's a Wonderful Life, Harvey, and Anatomy of a Murder earned him Academy Award nominations (he won for Philadelphia Story). Stewart's career defied the boundaries of genre and trend, and he made his mark in screwball comedies, suspense thrillers, westerns, biographies and family films.

Voted Choice because I feel that he will get the most opportunity. They have nothing to play for, so they will want to see how he handles a larger role down the stretch. Plus he has a bit of a chip on his shoulder which seems to motivate him.

Ivory and Lynch would be my next 2 choices.

For me it was between Ivory and Choice... while both are risky... I think Ivory is a safer bet in terms of you know what you are going to get. Choice had one good game (in which Felix Jones also played well). I just don't trust that he will get that many carries again and if he can repeat that performance in the fantasy playoffs. I could easily see him screwing over a bunch of people expecting another week like last. Ivory could obviously do the same (and Im not expecting 55 yard TDs), but I think there is less chance to get screwed over... while the upside's are similar.

I was thinking

The correct answer is Chris Ivory.

I'm surprised by the Choice selections. No way does he even remotely help fantasy teams win a championship. I feel bad for those of you who are pinning your hopes on him - it will end badly. Then again, if I'm playing you, go ahead and grab Choice - I won't feel bad for YOU.

Because he has sucked when given the chances in the past? They have been focused more on the run lately. In weeks 15 and 16 they get Washington and Arizona. If you have injuries, you could do far worse than Choice...not sure your issue with him as an option.

Because he has sucked when given the chances in the past? Yes.They have been focused more on the run lately. So? Why would that necessarily continue?

In weeks 15 and 16 they get Washington and Arizona. They also play Philly twice, who are currently 13th in run defense and held Foster to 83 rushing and 26 receiving.

If you have injuries, you could do far worse than Choice...not sure your issue with him as an option. You could do better too.....my issue is that all things Dallas suck. Yeah, I have a blood borne hatred for the Cowgirls.

A. No, he has not sucked when given chances in the past. Might want to check out what Choice has done in a more featured role.B. Why would it not continue for them to focus on running the ball, they have been playing better and winning by doing that and their QB is still Jon Kitna.

C. Their last game is against Philly when most fantasy seasons are over. They get Philly this week which is more of a test...for weeks 15 and 16 they get much easier defenses.

D. Sure, you could do some better...depends on the league, the depth someone has and what is available.

The guy has been pretty good in fill in roles before...I think he is a solid play if that is what is available to you.

I was thinking Ivory but do not like the at Baltimore matchup looming.

Ruffrody just told you that his opinion is biased from his hatred of the cowboys. Debating is just a waste of time. I think Choice and Ivory are the top 2 choices given the options. They are all in committees, but these two seem like they are the more sure option to get the bulk of the carries and goal line touches. That makes them a safer option in my book. A guy like Goodson, Stewart or Dixon could have a blow up game and beat all of these guys, but I'd rather go with the safe option.

I'm having fun with ya, sho nuff, but I still feel that Ivory is the better pick up over Choice. You are right, folks could do much worse than Choice. Also, most of my leagues run through week 17, so I tend to forget most around here do not, thus that 2nd Eagles game is more on my mind than it would be for other folks, especially since that is our Championship round.

One other little tidbit of info, not that it matters much but it might give you a better idea of my mindset regarding the Cowboys......I have not rostered a Cowboy on any of my fantasy teams since 1997 when I had Troy Aikman as my QB in my first ever league. Never since then have I drafted, traded for, or picked up on waivers a Cowboy player, regardless of who they were. That includes kickers and defenses.

Rody

I think Ivory is the better pick right now too....but he has a tough game coming too.

Part of the issue is the poll gave you the option to vote for more than one...so Im sure many did.

I like Ivory this week, and Choice next week. (and thankfully have both of them)

I like Jonathan Stewart week 15, Choice week 16.

Goodson has been relegated to 3rd down. Stewart will be featured for the remainder of the season. The Carolina run game has made a nice turnaround and has been productive the last 4 games. Stewart's ypc has been nice the last couple weeks since he returned from his concussion. Stewart, and Carolina in general, has a recent history of being great during the fantasy football playoff stretch. Two years ago Deangelo Williams was the RB to own in the playoffs, last year Stewart was the man.

Atlanta this week isn't a great matchup. I would call it neutral. I don't think Carolina will be abandoning the running game under any circumstances, though.

Week 15 Carolina gets Arizona at home. This is a fantastic matchup. Stewart has a chance to be a huge part in propelling fantasy teams to the championship week.

Week 16 is not a good matchup against Pittsburgh. You might want to look elsewhere that week if you have other options.

If you have a hole at RB, I advocate trying to snag both Stewart and Choice, if theyre both available. Stewart probably isn't unless it is a very shallow league.

If you own Stewart already and Choice is available, you should try and go out and get Choice. He plays Arizona week 16.

I like Choice since he's available in my league, Ivory is not. I am actually thinking about picking up Choice and starting him over Felix Jones... I have until 9pm tonight to come to my senses though.
