Who is the Ram's WR to have going forward? (1 Viewer)

I guess we can address non-dynasty and dynasty as well as non-ppr and ppr.

On their website, the depth chart lists WR1 as : Brandon Gibson (first), Laurent Robinson (second), Danario Alexander (third)

and WR2 as: Danny Amendola (first), Mardy Gilyard (second).

Obviously this is somewhat up to date, as Avery and Clayton are removed. What are everyone's thoughts?

If you need a dependable WR then you go with DA, if you need a home run threat then make sure you go with DA. You can't go wrong here as long as you pick DA :excited:

I see what you did here.
Sorry couldn't resit. Can't believe this teams got 3 WR's with DA as the initials. Really how crazy is that? In answering your question I think it's a gamble to rely heavily on Alexander. Think about how this years gone for him. He's the leading WR in college and doesn't get drafted because of his knee injury problem. Thats really serious, no team wanted to take a risk on him because of his knee. Then the Rams bring him in during the last week of preseason when no other teams are interested because of his health concerns but we see him playing in the 6th game of the year. That doesn't sound very serious does it? Not to mention he's the leading WR for them in the biggest win for that team all year. The question is can this continue? If it can then we could well be discussing the WR WW pickup of the year. He's going to give defenses hell. He's got speed, hands, height, and a good QB to throw him the ball. The Rams could very well be using Alexander as the WR1 now and stay this way as long as he's healthy. He produced the teams most receiving yardage, receiving TD's, and catches in his very first week ever playing and tied for most targets on the team. Did I mention this was his first game playing ever? To me this clearly says the coaches think he is a playmaker who should be getting chances. I like him over all of the other WR lottery ticket going right now. But it's a situation to monitor closely since one week he could go from the WR1 to the IR because of his knee. I'd grab him if you are willing to take the risk. You have a safer bet with Amendola the rest of the year but it's hard to not get excited about Alexander. No one knows how this plays out since injuries could happen on the field or off it but if everything is equal I like his chances. Your guess I suppose is as good as mine but for my money I'd take a gamble on Alexander and do it quick before other league mates decide not to wait on him any longer. Worst case is you pick him up this week and then he gets hurt next week and your right back where you started, best case is he becomes an every week starter for you getting the production Clayton was providingHTH

That depth chart was set that way before the games this week. May be interesting to see if DA gets bumped based on his performance.

Another thing to consider here is the fact that Amendola is rostered in pretty much every 12 team+ league, ppr or not. Clayton WAS too, so comparing to Gilyard and Gibson, it seems that Alexander is the lottery ticket moving forward?

Gamebook says Gibson and Gilyard started.

It appears that D.Amendola and L.Robinson were 1st in but LRob didn't see any targets.

It ended with Alexander, Gibson, and Amendola each receiving a game-high 5 targets.
