Hey Guys

I'm Barney and i'm new to american football, I am trying to watch it as much as I can but because I'm from The Netherlands I don't realy can see it much,

I like the Philadelphia Eagles and the Oakland Raiders.

What is the difirents between the two fanbases and teams and what team has the more tougher fans?

Maybe you Guys can tell me something about it.

Thanx

RC

I recommend taking a look at the Denver Broncos. Classy organizations, tough players, tough fans, tough coach, they have the winningest record all time and respect their fans.

That's my recommendation!

Yikes. Those are about the 2 scariest fan bases there are.

Hi Barney,I think it's pretty clear that you must become a RAIDER FAN. I'll state our case.

Coolest logo in the NFL.

Passionate fans.

BO.

And, of course, the hottest cheerleaders in the NFL and their ample jugs!

The only downside is that we really, really suck.

Welcome aboard! :banned:

Root for the Chiefs. Then you can say you were always a fan when they win the Super Bowl next year.

Considering your home, there is only one logical choice.

PURPLE AND GOLD. MINNEASOTA VIKINGS

MAKE YOUR ANCESTORS PROUD!!!!

To be a Vikings fan, it might be helpful to know how to spell Minnesota. :P

What team has a tougher fanbase, Eagles or Raiders?
Raiders fans are as tough as Trekkies, Kiss fans, thespians and all the other people who like to wear makeup and silly costumes. If you are looking for tough fans, almost any of the other 31 teams will suit you better.

That was the first thought that came to my mind.

I would recommend being a Steelers fan. Then you never have to worry about your team being screwed by bad officiating.
You obviously haven't watched many Steelers games! ------------------

But I still agree you should be a Steelers fan or Eagles fan. Pennsylvania is football. All the great ones are from PA. Plus we got the cool towel wave :towelwave: LOL

Eagles fans by far. They boo their own team within seconds of bad play. Their more deidcated to their team. They sellout all games even when they suck, just like the Steelers.

Um, Netherlands isn't the home of the Vikings. The Vikings are from Scandinavia. If there were a team that wore wooden shoes and ice skated, however, that would be the right team for him.

Barney, I assume you are a futbol (soccer) fan. Compare the Raider fans to those in South America. They care a ton about their team. Just as the South Americans care so much that they throw bottles, etc. at the ref and other team, the Raiders have the "bad boy" image.

Since the Netherlands national color is orange, go with the Bengals (my team).

The alternative might be the Broncos, who used to be known as the "Orange Crush".

I met a guy at the Super Bowl who has been to every NFL stadium, seen 23 Super Bowls, and new just about as much as you can about American football. I asked him, who are the absolute worst fans in football as far as just being thugs?

He said, "without a doubt the Raiders fans. They are a menace."

His words not mine. "Tough" is not an easy word to describe with football fans. If you want thugs then you are rooting for the right teams. You want tough as far as mentality then Browns, Steelers, Lions, and Bears fans. If you want tough as far as knowing their teams and able to back it up I'd go Cowboys, Bears, Giants, Lions, and Eagles.

This post will surely get me some good responses but I don't know about what you'll learn.

:welcome:

If you want a real team with a small fanbase who have the best home crowd in the NFL: THEN JUMP ON THE SEAHAWKS WINGS!

In a totally unrelated and off-topic aside, does anybody know how many official apologies the NFL has given out in the past couple years for bad officiating, and to whom?
