Is the answer "Matt Leinart?" I think the answer is "Matt Leinart."
Lmfao, we have a winner! But in seriousness. Kurt has to know his career is winding down, why not go back to the place that gave you your start? You've got a young great RB, whom needs a little respect from the passing game to have a great season. You've got a young Rookie w/ tons of upside in Avery. Crafty Veteran in Tory Holt, whom has chemistry with Warner.Only issue is O-Line.

Ooooorrr....he could stay in Arizona and not go to St. Louis to finish his career getting killed every other play.

Warner only plays with future HOFers (or potential ones) so unless Avery is that good, he should pass if he knows what is good for him and ride into the sunset of his career in the desert.

If Warner was given the choice of retiring or playing behind the St. Louis O-line, the wise choice would be to retire.

I bet Brenda is voting for him to stay in ARI (or retire). His life expectancy is greater in the desert than in St. Louis.

I don't want to see it & none of us will.

It's AZ or retirement for Kurt (I think it's the former for the 2009-10 season. Only a possible Super Bowl could change that). Management will be more than happy to go year-2-year with him if that's what he chooses to do.

Kurt voted NO.

ETA:

Rams QBs were sacked 48 times in 08, AZ QBs were sacked 28 times.

Fitz, Boldin, Breaston vs. an old Holt and Avery

Super Bowl contention vs. 1.01 rookie pick contention

is this really a question?

I do... and I'm a Cardinals fan. :)
Are you joking? :hifive:Anyway, who would want to see this?Warner? No. He'll get killed behind that line and he can't ask for better WRs to throw to then he has in Arizona.Cardinals fans? No. Who would work better in that scheme then Warner? For sure, not Leinart.Rams fans? No. Why pay big bucks to an older, immobile QB when your team is rebuilding and the money could be spend better elsewhere for that team.So we're down to Leinart.I'll go with "No" here too. I believe he's much happier holding a clipboard to collect his paycheck rather then being on the field on Sundays.

I'm pretty sure Matt has convinced himself that he's the future and only benched now because there's a future HOFer in front of him.Losing Warner would expose him, so he's better off with Warner there, but he probably doesn't know it.

I'm a man about nostalgia. Realistically it will NEVER happen, but I'd like to see Warner in a Rams Jersey just one more time. Also the Cards are now a competitive team, Warner won't be around forever... and Leinart needs to take over eventually.

Why?

The Rams are no longer the greatest show on turf and haven't been for a long time. That team Warner was once a part of no longer exist. I hope Warner stays in Arizona until he retires. As for the Cardinals being a competitive team now, Warner has had a lot to do with that.

He was drafted as a Franchise QB, and Warner won't be around forever. That's why.

One problem though. Leinart kinda sucks.

Eh, it's too early for me to call him a bust just yet. The thing is here, I want to make sure he's a bust here... before I see him go away to another team and have success.

Good point! hey Roy Williams should try to get back to the Lions. why not go back to the place that gave you your start? love your logic :goodposting: Not wanting Warner back is also a great idea. Let's see a QB who is doing great vs one who has sucked. hmmm

His logic makes more sense when you factor in Warner's beginnings and the SB ring.
