So far most votes have gone to Chris Johnson. Then there were a few votes for Steven Jackson and Ray Rice.

For wr Justin Hunter is in the lead.

Ill add one more vote for Percy

I'll throw out some names that I think are steals. Many have already been mentioned.

QB:

Andy Dalton - Seems to be REALLY underrated. Go back and look at last year's numbers. He'll probably regress, sure, but he could regress a long ways and still be a QB1.

RB:

Pierre Thomas - Similar to Dalton, except his numbers could actually go up in PPR.

Shane Vereen - PPR monster

WR:

Nicks - If he can stay healthy I think he could have a career year.

Thompkins/LaFell/Dobson (I really think one will have a very solid season, but not sure which. I've listed in the order I am trying to get them.)

Cooks - He's been creeping up the boards, but I still think he's in for a big year.

TE:

Toilolo - My confidence has waned this preseason, but I might as well stay on the bandwagon.

Chandler - Should get lots of looks from Mr. Conservative, EJ Manuel.

My single pick, if I had to put all my eggs in one basket, is Nicks.

M Sanu. He will be the #2 for Cinc. until Jones comes back. And could possibly keep it, if he impresses. Has had an excellent camp. Free agent in many leagues so technically may not be a steal of the draft.

Romo - arsenal of weapons, horrible defense, new play caller in Scott Linehan who agressively attacks downfield. could have a career high in pass attempts. 11th QB drafted off the board in my draft.

I think similar to last year with J Thomas and J Cameron, that a number of the late round high upside TEs could jump up into the TE5 range....some candidates are Allen, Ertz, Eifert, and Kelce.

The best runner I've seen this preseason is Mark Ingram so I'll go with him.

Usage pattern is the only thing that'd keep him from being one of the league's leading rushers. Unfortunately, I don't see that usage pattern changing. If it does (again there's a very very slim chance it does), he's got Top 5 RB upside.

Rookie TEs mostly underwhelm, but Richard Rodgers could end up a top 10 TE and his Adp is undrafted. The guy isn't known as a blocker, and is likely to start for the Packers this year.

Tony Gonzalez.

Undrafted in all formats, but has stated intent to remain in shape and make himself available down the stretch to a team making a playoff run. Could be nabbed in redraft formats for free right now and stashed with potential to put up 5/80/TD lines in the critical FFL playoff stetch.

I want to say Markus Wheaton because there would seem to be some hay to make as the #2WR in a hurry-up offense run by Big Ben.

But the two of them have not been on the same page in the action I've seen.

Maybe Wheaton rounds into form in the second half of the year and is good enough to be SOD Lite?

A steal would mean a breakthrough this year, right? I never feel good about a young guy who has been given all the reps in the world and the needle isn't moving much. I feel like Dalton is very close to his ceiling. Which isn't bad, he'll be a starting NFL QB for years, but I don't see him ever sniffing Top 5.

Here's another: Russell Wilson. Dude is crazy efficient. I won't be at all shocked if he finishes the season top 5 at his position. They look like a well oiled machine so far in the preseason, and with the way that team is run, I expect it to carry over into the regular season.

Many rankings have him in the Teens. I understand why people put him there, thanks to the upside guys in front of him, but I think it's a mistake. I drafted him as my QB2 behind Rodgers, as the 16th QB off the board. My confidence in him actually has me considering moving Rodgers for a big RB.

In my 6 pt passing TD league, he was the 6th QB off the board behind only the big three, Luck and Stafford. Immediately after then pick, several of the remaining teams w/o QBs groaned. Word is out on Russ, apparently.

I mentioned this in some other steal/sleeper thread but keep an eye on Dobson. 6"3, 4.4 wheels, finally healthy, further maturation in NE offense and elite QB.

I agree. Wilson already put up nice numbers last year and should have Harvin more. Wilson is about to go from a game manager to a stud QB IMO.

Dobson is not healthy....he recently had a permanent screw placed in his foot and all the reports indicate that he is only running in straight lines at this point.

football field is a straight line, chief.
Straight line? What game are you watching?

If 3-57 and a TD last night was straight line only, this guy will be Jerry Rice once he can turn.

I'm reluctantly leaning Chris Johnson even tho I haven't drafted him in any league
After sort of planning on him and mocking him all the time...I didn't draft him either. I ended up taking Percy Harvin, Ben Tate or Torrey Smith around his spot.

I'm regretting have zero stock in him.
Ben Tate over Chris Johnson is brutal sorry to hear.. Yes Chris Johnson, Ray Rice will be way better then their ADP.

He may not be Jerry Rice as he is probably unanimously the GOAT but He will be a stud I believe... Tall lanky good hands fast and very deceptive in open field. Like Dobson alot.

Randy Moss? :D

I am going to say Brandin Cooks. Primarily because his ADP is artificially low due to his missing time with the stomach virus. He may very well be the 2nd receiver behind Graham on the Saints (and yes, I have owned Colston). He has the talent and will be given the opportunity.

I also like the Justin Hunter call.

Zach Ertz could be studly.

Kelvin Benjamin could have a Torry Smith-like rookie season, which would likely put him well ahead of his ADP (depending on your league and where he went)

The surgery was 6 months ago. Define "recently" for me please.
