I am thinking Daniel Graham might...1st round talent, experienced now and above all else....he is a free agent After this year.

Jacobs in NY should be quite interesting.

I don't like Graham to break out ( fantasywise... on the field, he's a great TE). Watching him thru his first years has shown me that he's fast, but not fluid. He rumbles more than runs. And he gets into awkward positions trying to catch the ball. And he's such a devestating blocker at the TE spot he'll continue to have those assignments before running seam routes. It just is how he'll best help a team. He can be a starting FFL TE, but most likely in the 9-12 range at the top end.

Decent rookie year in 2005 until hurt, FA Drew Bennett probably moving on and Givens returning from injury next year, and VY with some experience... I see Jones having a prominent role in the Titans offense in 2007.

I think Ryan Moats is a good player and I wouldn't be surprised to see him emerge at some point in the next few seasons. He's a little small, but he has skills.

Matt Jones is another talented player with mediocre production thus far. There's still hope for him.

Troy Williamson could also surprise. I noticed that he caught a few balls with Jackson in the game yesterday. Maybe the QB change is just what he needed.

For that matter, Jackson is worth watching. He's a great athlete and he has scary arm strength. He performed well in the preseason and seemed to do well yesterday.

At TE, Heath Miller and Marcedes Lewis are first round talents with a good deal of potential. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Ben Troupe make some noise.

And for some long shots, I think Brad Smith of the Jets and Johnnie Morant of the Raiders are two receivers with potential. Smith is a great athlete who should be much better next season after spending his rookie year learning a new position. Morant has been quiet in Oakland, but he has incredible physical ability and has been pretty dominant in the past two preseasons.

I also still like the long term potential of Derek Hagan despite a pretty quiet rookie season.

Just felt like checking this years stats after reading this.He is 7th in my league.He is 4th in my TD only league.Yeah, if he gets the full time gig and stays healthy, I'd say top 5 is almost a given. This next part should be in the bragging thread. I ended up with 4 of the top 9 RB's in my TD only league. (LT, FWP, Gore, and MBIII) Gonna have to look harder for surprise players next year cause I aint gettin those 4 again. Good times this year though. They earned me some $$$

Don't hold the slowness of his year against him - he was eased into the lineup behind all-time Bronco great Rod Smith. He and Cutler (along with Scheffler) already have timing and trust, and the passing offense will greatly improved next year.

Never underestimate the WR's need for a real NFL QB. Marshall appears to have that with Cutler. Hackett has that in Hasslebeck. On the flip side, look at Chambers this year.

Agreed. I would also imagine that Cutler has probably thrown more passes to Marshall/Sheffler since they are the backups and they probaby worked together as part of the 2nd team units. Since he's been in the lineup they have both suddenly come to life. I agree also with Cutler being a big surprise. It will be interesting to see how he continues to progress over these last few games. Each game he's seem to have taken a quantum leap in terms of confidence and results. His 1st game was about as bad you could be and last outing he looked better than Plummer's best outing all year, he was excellent. Don't sleep on Cutler...

He was great last year when Bruce was out for his 6-8 week stretch. I remember him showing good speed on a couple of long TD receptions (one vs. JAX, another in OT?).

I'm impressed with Campbell's development, and already Cooley is averaging almost one more reception and 20 more yards per game, and has scored 2 TD's in 5 starts with Campbell as opposed to 3 in 9 games with Brunell. Spread across the entire season that puts him in the top 2-3 TE's.

The difference is that Campbell puts the ball into Cooley's hands farther downfield and enables him to make big plays, while Brunell used Cooley more in a classic dumpoff/outlet role. Cooley is very good for a TE running with the football, and is harder to bring down than the average TE (he frankly runs more like a FB than a TE), so this small difference allows far more YAC for Cooley.

To expand on Campbell for a second, his stats through his first five starts are:

What has me impressed with him is that he's already throwing more than one TD per game, and more TD's than INT's despite not being fully in synch with his receivers. Two games in a row they've left more than 10 points on the field because of multiple drives that stalled inside the opponent's red zone. His completion % and yards per attempt will increase, and that will only boost his yards and TD #'s. I'd definitely keep an eye on him as a guy who could emerge kind of like Eli Manning did a year ago.

I took that more as a dedication to the running game and the end of the 'greatest show on turf' era.
