It will be one of those four. Scenarios:

DENVER BRONCOS

Denver clinches AFC West division with:

1) DEN win OR

2) OAK loss OR

3) DEN tie + OAK tie

OAKLAND RAIDERS

Oakland clinches AFC West division with:

1) OAK win + DEN loss

Oakland clinches playoff spot with:

1) OAK win + CIN loss + TEN loss or tie OR

2) OAK win + CIN loss + NYJ win

CINCINNATI BENGALS

Cincinnati clinches playoff spot with:

1) CIN win or tie OR

2) TEN win + NYJ loss or tie + OAK loss or tie

NEW YORK JETS

Jets clinch playoff spot with:

1) NYJ win + CIN loss + TEN loss or tie + either OAK loss or tie or DEN loss or tie

TENNESSEE TITANS

Tennessee clinches playoff spot with:

1. TEN win + CIN loss + NYJ win + either OAK loss or tie or DEN loss or tie OR

2. TEN win + CIN loss + DEN win + OAK win + NYJ loss or tie

Relevant Week 17 games:

Kansas City at Denver

San Diego at Oakland

Baltimore at Cincinnati

Tennessee at Houston

NY Jets and Miami

---------

I'll say Oakland gets in when they win, the Bengals lose, and the Titans lose.

kan over den (Broncos are toast)

oak over sdg (Norv is done)

bal over cin (Ravens are just better)

ten over hou (Texans are toast)

mia over nyj (Jets are toast)

That yields:

#1 Patriots

#2 Ravens

#3 Texans

#4 Raiders

#5 Steelers

#6 Bengals

Bengals back into the playoffs.

Wild Card Weekend

#6 Bengals at #3 Texans

#5 Steelers at #4 Raiders

I'll take the Bengals and Raiders in those matchups.

divisional round

#6 Bengals at #1 Patriots

#4 Raiders at #2 Ravens

AFC title game:

#2 Ravens at #1 Patriots

AFC Champ

Patriots

scenario for Bengals is incorrect. Tenessee game does not matter. Here is the correct scenario:

Bengals are in with:

1) Bengals win or tie

or

2) Jets loss/tie and Raiders loss/tie

or

3) Jets loss/tie and Broncos loss/tie

Are the Texans locked into the #3 seed or can they get the #2?
The Texans cannot get the #2. They beat the Steelers head-to-head, but lost to the Ravens head-to-head. The only way the Steelers can win their division is if they finish with a better record than the Texans. The Texans have nothing to play for. They are the #3.The Titans should win the game, and they should have a good chance at being the Wild Card. The biggest hurdle is having the Bengals lose. The Bengals play the Ravens well as of late. The Ravens have not won in Cincinnati since 2008. The Bengals are 3-2 in their last 5 games vs the Ravens.

This is not correct. They have lost 2 in a row. They have a lot to play for. They will not be resting any starters or laying down. AJ and Wade Phillips will also be back.

Honestly all 5 of the games that matter are 50/50 games so it has the potential to be a wild finish, but I think the Bengals can make this easy on everyone :football:

#1 Patriots

#2 Ravens

#3 Texans

#4 Broncos

#5 Steelers

#6 Bengals

Bengals At Texans ---> Benglas win the upset!

Steelers At Broncos ----> Steelers win easily

Bengals At Pats ---> Pats win

Steelers At Ravens ---> Steelers win

Steelers At Pats ---> Pats win

Pats VS New Orleans

Really should rerun this with the correct scenarios. Again, Tennessee game does not impact Bengals' playoff chances.

If the Bengals beat the Ravens, Steelers would only be the #5 seed if they lose to the Browns. Could happen, but you might want to flip the Ravens and Steelers in this scenario.

I think the Titans have a surprisingly good chance of making the playoffs. To me, they win over a Houston team that sits everyone (regardless of what they are saying now, do you think they're risking Arian Foster?), the Jets win, and Oakland gets stomped by the Chargers, who always show up huge as long as nothing is on the line.

And then it all comes down to whether Baltimore can win at Cincy, where they are 2-6 since Marvin Lewis took over the Bengals. That game is going to be a nail-biter, in my opinion. If the Ravens pull off the win, then the Titans get in and play the Texans for a second straight week.

Broncos lose

Raiders lose

Titans lose

Bengals lose

....

....

....

Jets lose :kicksrock:

Bengals make it as 9-7, riding a 2-5 streak

If that's the case, Pittsburgh @ Denver and Cincinnati @ Houston have the potential to be awful games.

I'd take it Chase :) :excited: -QG
