It looks like it a two-man race now. Who takes the crown?

LT's remaining games: Denver and at Oakland

AD's remaining games: Washington and at Denver

denver games look to be a wash.

LT vs. Oakland = rushing title.

Problem is LT could have lcoked it up last week vs. the Lions but only played like a quarter and a half.

I voted ADP of course but there are a bunch of things that can change the outcome.

I almost voted for LT cause of his schedule but is he healthy right now? And will the team take a chance with the Chargers really having nothing to play for?

And the Vike's have alot to play for and ADP has played poorly the last two games so I think he is ready to break out for another big game.

I would say AP just because San Diego has already wrapped up the AFC West, otherwise it would be LT. He always throttles Oakland.

Adrian Peterson will have plenty of rushing titles in his career. Just not this season. LT's playing against the Broncos and the Raiders. He won't be denied. Back-to-back baby.

I guess I would have to ask, how important is that to LT? Is he one of those guys that wants all the accolades or is he more interested in winning it all? He has a bunch of individual awards already. He may think, "hey, we're up in this game, why not let the kid go and be ready for next week and beyond?"

Oh, and I own LT and have him going on MNF for the SB title in my main league. Doesn't mean I'm not nervous that we could see a repeat of last week. I will be rooting for the BRoncos to stay in the game to keep it close and hopefully keep LT in the entire game!

San Diego is still trying to get the 3 seed (which would mean they would most likely avoid Jacksonville in the first round and New England in the second round), so why would Tomlinson not be playing in both games?

I think they are still meaningful games; however, if San Diego has a comfortable lead, do you think LT will get some rest for his hammy? Does the same apply for ADP?

Well, FWP was leading the league in rushing and after he came out of the lockeroom on crutches, Gumbel said FWP "has a broken ankle and may be out for the remainder of the season". So it sounds like there's a possibility that FWP comes back because Gumby says so ....

I think it's LT's for the taking considering the matchups and I'm a huge ADP fan. The only problem I forsee is SD resting LT in blowout games. The WAS game should be close for Minny so ADP will see the bulk of the action. The DEN game would be the game ADP goes for the title because he'll have more of an idea of what he needs.

Regardless I think it's LT's for the taking and it's well deserved. He can have this one because the next five will be ADP's.

I would say there is a 50/50 chance that LT comes away with it again this year.

LT will probably see enough (limited action) in both games to challenge ADP. I see LT playing in both games, I just don't think he will play either game to it's entirety, as both could be huge blowouts.

ADP will probably see enough (limited action) in both games to challenge LT. I see ADP playing in both games, more so than LT, but will still be splitting carries with Chester.

Both teams have reasons to need wins, and both teams will most likely be concerned about health going into playoffs. I don't want to see ADP pushing too hard to get the rushing title only to have him hurt himself this close to playoffs and not be able to rely on his explosiveness IN playoffs...but I would still love to see our rook get the title.

I do have LT on my fantasy squad so I'm also hoping for big numbers from him as well.

If the Bolts or Vikes have their Week #17 game moved to Sunday night, would this change your opinion? In a close race, I think it makes a difference. Currently, both are scheduled as afternoon games.

Not really. Great as he is LT only has 1 rushing title and 1 MVP award. He's 28 years old which is like 35 in rb years so this might be one of his few remaining opportunities to get a rushing title. Especially with AD dominating and McFadden soon to enter the NFL.

Noone is worried about McFadden. He is unproven.

That'll change soon. If LT doesn't get the rushing title this season that may be it.

Who wins the Rushing Title?

LT [ 21 ] [46.67%]

AD [ 23 ] [51.11%]

Other [ 1 ] [2.22%]

I am surprised by the edge for AD. Who is the "other"? Anyone? I cannot imagine McGahee or Westbrook overtaking both LT and AD.

I'm just trying to get the point across that everyone thinks that McFadden is gonna come into the league and be a stud like ADP. He won't. He's no ADP.More people on this board thought Bush was gonna come into the league and tear it up than people are with McFadden now. And Bush is nothing that special. Well, at least he's no ADP.

You know what, nevermind. Cause this was me about ADP before he came in so I shouldn't be telling people to be careful what they say.I guess it's better to hop on the train early than be forced to hop on after he becomes a stud like alot of people are finding themselves having to do with ADP. Alot of people missed out getting on early with ADP.

What exactly did they miss out on? You get free tickets or something?

WestbrookLT (no need to type LT2 since Taylor retired 25 years ago) will sit since they have nothing to gain by playing himand AP (no D necessary) will get hurt again, its only a matter of time.and:goodposting: for anyone who wasn't sureHave a happy Christmas!

Dear Baby Jesus,

If it's in your will, please let LT2 not want the rushing title and decide it's better to rest in the second half of this week's game.

Also, please cause a blizzard in Buffalo this week and if at all possible, allow Plax to finish the game with -67 points.

I think it will be AP because LT will get more resting time. They have their spot and if they jump out to a lead early he'll sit the bench like he did last week. THe Vikes are clawing for a spot and don't have that luxury yet. I hope it's LT, but I see Ap as having a better opportunity to get the touches needed.

No. Just alot of people jumping on the bandwagon. Highly overpaying for him now in dynasty leagues cause they didn't belive the hype in the beginning.

Tell that to Curtis Martin.

Curtis Martin won that rushing title by like 1 yard over Shaun Alexander and that's only because Mike Holmgren was a #####. I don't see a running back getting that lucky ever again including LT.
