PPR league.  1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1Flex.

Each team can keep one player at a cost of having to take them 2 rounds earlier the following year.  This year I have the option of keeping David Johnson at pick 7.01 or Nick Chubb 24 picks later at 8.12.   Next year Johnson would be my 5th round pick or Chubb would be my 6th and so on 2 rounds earlier each year until I had a better option.   Obviously I have drawn the 1st pick in the daft this year

The only other players of note who are already off the board being kept are Christian McCaffrey, Travis Kelce, Michael Thomas, Adam Thielen, and Mahomes.

Right now it seems like David Johnson is going a bit too high at his current ADP considering the team, the lack of WR's, the O-line, and the QB situation.  I'm not sure what to think about Chubb with Hunt coming into the mix mid season, but I like the offense and the team a lot more.

I Like Chubb with these settings of losing 2 rounds the next year.  The value will be there and you will be able to keep a younger Chubb

I keep Chubb and it's a fairly easy choice.  I think DJ is being overlooked by quite a few people because of his perceived "bad" year last year but I think Chubb will finish higher than DJ so that is why I think it's an easy choice.  If you think DJ will finish higher than take him.  Their value is so close based on the round lost you should just keep the guy you think will have a better year.

I wouldn't worry about future years.  It's one player and a lot can happen between now and next year (including drafting a player that might end up being your keeper next year.
