I have Hughes at $6 till 2010.

I have Bill Hill as my SS at $1 for this year only.

The pitchers I have that can be kept beyond this year are Hamels, the currently injured Hughes and Loewen, and the recently demoted to the pen Greinke.

My other pitchers are Nolasco, Sampson, Olsen, Maine, and Gorzelanny

I can survive without Hughes this year, but he will be ahuge boost going into 2008 I think

I was offered JJ Hardy for Hughes.

Obviously Hardy will help me now over Hall, but he also costs $18 vs Hughes $6 and with Loewen and Greinke not doing much now I am thinking it is better to keep the cheaper Hughes and hope Hall starts to produce again?

Do you agree?

Oh yah I also have Brandon Wood till 2009, but for now there are too many qusetions around him I think.

What place are you in now?

I don't know that I'd chase after JJ Hardy though.

Hardy's current output is extremely out of the ordinary for him.

2005 - 9 hr's in 372 AB's

2006 - 5 hr's in 128 AB's

2007 - 13 hr's in 169 AB's

Bill Hall on the other hand hit 35 homers just last year.

I'm not a huge fan of stashing pitchers for future years, as more often than not they do not pan out. However, Hughes should fetch more in return, and I think I'd take a chance holding onto him.

the J.J. in Hardy stands for Juicy Juicing

man is mashing this year, someone test him for steroids

hardy has never slugged above 500 until this year.

i just don't think he's that good.

i'd stick with hughes, but i could also see making the deal if you were so inclined.
