David Boston by a mile. Of the three, isn't he the only one currently on a roster? No matter what, he's currently the only one getting ANY snaps with the first string. He's a WR with some stud production in the past who is in peak physical condition and playing for a team with a current dearth of WRs. Of the three, Boston has the best chance of being on a roster at opening day, the best chance of being a starter on opening day, and the best chance of being in the top-20 at his position by the end of the season (I could see it happen if Clayton is still a bust and Galloway declines due to age or injury). This isn't to say that Boston isn't still a huge longshot, I just think he's much less of a longshot than the other two.
i agree with everything you said 100 percent
I think Maurice Stovall will get more playing time and post better numbers this year than Boston, and possibly the rest of the WR corps in Tampa by year's end. And he's just as cheap in most drafts.
I don't think that's an unreasonable belief, but Stovall wasn't one of the choices. The choices were Boston, Dillon, and Williams, and of the three, I'd prefer Boston.
Point taken. Given the choices however, I think I would take the cowardly way out for now and employ the wait-and-see approach. Today, I agree, Boston would be the best choice, for the reasons you stated. Ricky is a distant 3rd, as I don't see much chance of him making his way onto an NFL roster, this year, or possibly ever again. The reason I would reserve judgement for now, is that depending on if and where Dillon signs, he could end up with some value. Personally I don't think he has much left in the tank, but in the right situation, he's an injury away from being a decent flex player in spot starting duty on a fantasy roster. I suppose you could make a similar argument that Boston could crack the Bucs starting lineup, and end up as a fantasy WR3 on occasion, but I just don't see that happening.Dillon is the only one I'm considering in my top 300 rankings right now (as I have a draft in a start-up dynasty, 12 team, 25 roster spot, non-idp league in a little over a week).
