who would you take

If YOUR team just lost all thier QBs to injury and had the choice this year of going with either Romo or Favre who would you take?

not fantasy pick...just your personal favorite NFL team

Assuming each would enter the same team, so they would be playing with the same players/coaches and all that... I would take Favre for just this year. He has way more experience than Romo, and I think he would be able to lead/gain the trust of a new team sooner/better than Romo this year. So for just one year its Favre.

He was the only QB in the NFL to be ranked in the bottom 5 in passer rating and not be benched.Romo was top 5...I know he only played 10 games and has more weapons but at some point in time you have to look at Favre as a has been...

Why are you beating up the guy to first post in your thread? Sounds like romo is on your team and you have a bone to pick with Favre.This year, nfl = FavreFFL = Romo

wasn't beating him up....just wanted to point out stats from last year for all to read...I don't have a bone to pick with Favre...I just got into an arguement about this with another person and wanted to see what the shark pool thinks

If I have a good OL and WRs, I take Favre easily.If I have a lesser OL, I take Romo."My team" is Detroit, and I think the OL can be pretty solid this year, so I take Favre. FWIW, I'd rather keep Kitna. :shrug:
 
All other things being equal (O Line - WR Corps - RB) then:

FARVE >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ROMO

Favre throws INTs when his team is down by 28, Romo throws INTs when his team is down by 3

i would take Romo and not think twice.
