Reply notifications are now "[username] replied to [thread title]" instead of the more generic "Topic Subscription Reply Notification" which will cause some email threading issues in gmail...

Otherwise...the jury's still out for me...*shrug* (though I agree, it seems slow right now...)

In our poker forum, we have the option to change colors of the background towards the bottom where the "English USA" is. I can't take a screen shot of it right now, but I will in a bit once my program is working to capture the screen shot. Was wondering if this could be added.

iPhone version is decent, but it's a huge pet peeve of mine when a site autodetects your device, serves you the mobile version of the site, and doesn't give you the option to view full version of the site. Can this be added (usually just a link in the footer of the mobile site...)

Expanding on this: for example, how can I subscribe to a thread from the iPhone site? I can't find a way. But the iPhone browser is fully capable of displaying the full site - there's no reason I shouldnt have access to all those features just because the site is forcing me onto the iPhone version of the site...Having personally been involved on the technical side of several community site upgrades -- for those of you who are posting in this thread, try to keep things constructive. Identify areas where you can see room for improvement. Suggest solutions to those issues. How can Joe & Memphis Foundry & the rest address your concerns and improve the new boards if the only feedback you're giving them is "I don't like it"?

I'm use to the new forums for the most part because those in zealots just had a change over not long ago and it's similar to that, but that being said I would like to see it so that things aren't centered. That is extremely annoying.

This is a downgrade that IMO makes it harder to find content I want to read and harder to read it, which means it will lead to me posting less. Some might feel that is a good thing, but, if others feel the same way, it probably is a bad thing.

I vote for left aligned text. The centered stuff is just too weird.Layout and graphics upgrades are nice touches though.

OK, I see it now that I am here on a lap top vs. a Droid. Those at the very top are pinned and I guess new posts bump up under those.I didn't see them as pinned from the Droid. So it seems like we just have to get used to the changes. Nothing substantive, as much as minor tweaks. I like the idea of beingable to embed video.

It looks ok. It runs ok (IE 8). I like the log in better (all the easier to manage my sock puppets and not get confused when I atta boy my own posts).

The center allignment HAS TO GO!, i'm sure its just a CSS style change. Any layout with center text is just to hard to read...I'm confident this will change. And I'm sure this is a small problem/concern they are dealing with right now. Give it time... I hope!
