Who's in a contract year? Sleepers for 08' (1 Viewer)

Anyone out there know of a website or an available list of players (offense & defense) who are eligible for FA in 2008?? Players like Michael Turner have more appeal knowing that they could be in a much better position next year. I have Julius Jones (hoping a change of scenery=stock up in 08') and Adalius Thomas and it can be good to take a chance on a player, especially in weeks 14-16 to stash guys on your keeper roster and it can bolster their trade value.

Can someone hook me up with a resource or let me know players that come to your mind that you may pursue thru trade or look to pick up towards the end of the 07' season??

I don't have a list, but Tatum Bell is a guy I'm higher on than others are in Dynasty, mostly because he's produced solid enough numbers in the past, he's backing up an RB coming off of a major injury, and he's a free agent after the season. That's like a Lottery Ticket with three chances to win (he can either win the job outright, get it handed to him by the other RB's injury, or wind up getting a different job in free agency).

Thanks for the link :X Some of the better WR and TE UFA in IMO:

WR Bernard Berrian UFA Chicago Bears WR Terrance Copper UFA New Orleans Saints WR Patrick Crayton UFA Dallas Cowboys WR D.J. Hackett UFA Seattle Seahawks WR Bryant Johnson UFA Arizona CardinalsTE Chris Cooley UFA Washington Redskins TE Bryan Fletcher UFA Indianapolis Colts TE L.J. Smith UFA Philadelphia Eagles TE Ben Troupe UFA Tennessee Titans TE Kris Wilson UFA Kansas City Chiefs Most of these guys are in good situations already. Bryant Johnson and Troupe might benefit most from a change of scenery.

That KFFL link is clutch. Bryant Johnson may bust out in another system when he gets an opportunity. I didn't see Julius on the 08' list but I'm fairly sure he's a FA next spring.

Julius' contract is through 2009, but he can void the final 2 years with playing time incentives. I'm not sure if it automatically gets voided or what the deal is with those type of contracts.

I am lovin' this thread. check out my sig. I'm trying to get J Jones bad.

:goodposting: Thx Clint.

This helped my cause @ the end of a dynasty start-up draft. Decided to grab Mewelde Moore and sit on him for 08 as a UFA. Or maybe he'll get traded before that.
I finally cut ties last week after having him sit on my roster (doing nothing) since a few days after the Vikes drafted him. Just watch - he'll probably go on to have a Hall of Fame career now. While FA lists such as this one can give insight as to who may prosper elsewhere the following year (Chester Taylor for example), it's also good to note which backups could prosper at their current team with people ahead of them moving on as FA's next year, a'la Dom Rhodes with Edge.

Offense-wise there's not a whole heap out on offer in '08, but a few potential IDP gems.

that's why I decided to take a shot on him. there should be a team willing to give him a contract that MN won't be willing or able to match - and I can't see why he'd stay there behind CT and AD. worst case he's costing me my RB7 slot for the year when my other options were ugly.MM has quietly produced with the limited opportunity he's been given. He's got the 'measurables' and talent needed to be a good NFL rb, but hasn't been given the chance to prove it. injuries haven't helped, but a fresh start might be all he needs.

Check out Matt Schaub on the 2007 FA Status list....says he re-signed with Atlanta.....How well is this KFFL site kept up?
