Who's rolling with Jerome Simpson this week against Tennessee? (1 Viewer)

I picked him off waivers in one league last week, and I'm thinking about it. I'll probably go with LaFell or Jared Cook instead, but he's not a bad flyer if you've been relying on Wayne, Wallace, or Brown this year.

I'm glad I have him, but I'll wait to see what he does before starting him.

He's at the bottom of my Flex list this week, behind Pitta and LaFell.I hope he climbs the ranks soon though.

I have him in 2 leagues. But going to wait and see what he does first. However, this sounds promising for those who are taking a chance on him this week. Good luck.

"Coach Leslie Frazier said he plans to use WR Jerome Simpson "quite a bit" this week.

The Vikings aren't going to ease Simpson back in off suspension. They desperately need his field-stretching speed to open things up for Adrian Peterson, Percy Harvin and Kyle Rudolph. Simpson figures to see the majority of "X" receiver snaps against the Lions this week, but is just a WR4/5 in fantasy until further notice."

Part of why I'd be willing to play him this week is that it's just a suspension. He was with the team all preseason and there isn't really a question about his role. It's less of a concern than some might have had with LeShoure last week, as he was coming off an injury, suspension, and with another guy ahead of him. Of course, that turned out just fine.

Love him. Have him in two leagues.

One league, he's starting by default over McCluster, Jeffrey and Young. :X

The second league, no way I can start him over Julio, Hakeem and Torrey.

I drafted him very late and he starts this week for me over Colston, Britt and Garcon.

Not sure of Garcon's injury status, Britt plays my Texans and Colston just blows.

I've got him in multiple leagues, but I'm starting Decker, Lance Moore, and a few other obvious choices over him.

We can't start Simpson this week, right?

With this much universal enthusiasm, this is clearly destined to be a 3/27 day.

And how is it that everyone who has Simpson also has Cobb???

Probably going to wait and see with Simpson. I will probably start Nate Washington over him this week despite his tougher matchup. I also have Harvin so I may look to move Simpson if he has a decent day. I do like him going forward though. Guy's athleticism is off the charts.

One of the big things I love about him is that with Peterson and Harvin on the same offense, Simpson will never have a target on him in the opposing team's defensive meetings. I actually think he'll do worse when Harvin can't play.

Considering starting him over D.Moore- his downside will likely be that he needs to score from outside the 20 because the red zone belongs to Rudolph/Harvin/Peterson (and the possible Ponder run TD).

But I wouldn't be shocked if the first play from scrimmage is a long bomb to Simpson. Given the ref situation, it's either 6 points or PI.

Really considering starting him over Steven Jackson vs Seattle at flex (.5ppr).
I have that option, too, and I'm not hesitating to start Simpson or LaFell over him. Really tough run D, injury unknown, still some questions about usage after the week 2 benching. Love Jackson, but I expected him to ride pine for this middle stretch of the year.

This kinda shocked me but it's from FBG. They are very high on him. Perform like a WR2 with WR1 upside.

Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said the team plans on using WR Jerome Simpson often in Week 4.

Our view: Simpson gives the team a deep threat they don't have right now. If he plays up to his potential he could have an instant impact for the Vikings. Some felt Simpson was the steal of free agency when the Vikings added him earlier this year. Fantasy owners should watch this situation closely. In that offense Simpson could perform like a WR2 with WR1 upside.
