Who's rolling with Larry Johnson today? (1 Viewer)

Reports this week said that Larry Johnson was very angry after last week's game and let the team have it on the flight home. An angry Larry Johnson is a dangerous Larry Johnson. Anyone sitting him this week?

Maybe it's just me but I'll never sit him this year. He's still one of the three best runners in the NFL regardless of what is going on around him.

Agreed. But given the fact that this is the third staright tough run defense that he has run into, other options may be availble on your bench. Given the fact that Portis dropped so far in drafts, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that you could have a choice between LJ and Portis.

I will be playing him every week as well, he told Herm he wanted the ball 40+ times this week, I say he gets it 25 and does for 100 and a score.

I sat him last week and that worked out well for me, but he is back in this week and hopefully will not sit anymore this year.

I'm sitting him in one league, Rudi is getting the nod again. In another league he's in the lineup.

Benched him last week, but he's starting this week. He should be at full strength. Vikings D is very tough against the run, hoping that he busts a screen for a long one.

Chefs Home opener v. a young Minnesota team with a shaky QB situation....

Look for LJ and the Chefs to steamroll the Vikes....

It's time to hop aboard the Lj train choo-choo

yup, he's in my lineup as well. He's been getting some good looks in the passing game too. Starting LJ and Portis this week.

Must win game for KC today. They will lean heavily on LJ. 30+ touches. Grinds out close to 100 with a TD.

I am starting him in a ppr league with confidence. Who am I supposed to start over him...Warrick Dunn?

I will never sit LJ unless he is hurt.......

As I recall he stated he wanted the rock 40 times. I will "roll" with him any week he wants the ball 40 times

I benched him last week and he will sit until the team shows some life. I do have the option of starting AD or Jordan in his place.

After watching the Chiefs today I have come to the conclusion this is going to be a very long year for LJ owners.

The Chiefs offense is as bad as any team I can remember in recent years. The Vikings are not even worried about the pass..and others team will not worry either.

LJ has a tough first five weeks and Herm Edwards is the worst coach in professional sports. LJ will be ok once the schedule evens out but Herm Edwards is always going to make it more difficult. He should be fired tomorrow.

I remember when the Chiefs used to throw the ball to LJ out of the backfield before Herman Edwards. Ah, memories.
I debated hard about LJ or Addai.. :wall: :wall:
I sat Boldin for Chambers. I wish Wisenhunt would have called me and told me Warner would get in. LJ is gonna recover but he's no longer a top five fantasy back because of his coaching and situation. Trade him to Dallas and he's #1 or #2.

I'm not sure it's fair to rip on the coaching after a nice win today against a more talented team.

I could care less about the win..LJ and Herm are killing my team.Meshawn Lynch is blowing LJ away.

It was a home game against a team with a horrible offense. I don't think that was necessarily a super win. Edwards is awful.

no one's concerned about his injury?

we only have to start 1 RB in our league (but can start up to 3), i have Paker as my RB1... not sure i'd start Johnson over him until he puts up better numbers...

but i could see him doing decent - if healthy

I've got him in 2 of my 5 leagues. Of course those two leagues are kicking my ### this season. I'm still starting him. The Chiefs schedule does get easier towards the middle of the season. Good luck LJ owners.

Not really concerned about his injury much. I think Larry is an elite talent. I don't really see how all that much has changed for him since last season. His OL wasn't very good last year. His QB and TE are the same. Coach is the same. Defense is the same. And he kicked ### last season. He was with Ladainian as neck and neck number 1 overall picks last season. He's had a tough schedule Chicago and Minnesota after the warmup game against Houston after the holdout. He's just going to be rounding into shape.

I am half tempted to throw Steve Smith at the Larry Johnson owner with some throw-ins. Maybe I am in the minority here, but I am in a buying mood for Larry. I traded for him earlier this week, and I might do it in another league and see what happens. If Larry didn't have the hammy right now, I'd do this trade.

totally agree with you. I hate everything about his situation but he's a great rb.
