Who's the backup to own in Baltimore? (1 Viewer)

I have Ray Rice, but McClain is available. I know we only have 2 games of data to go by, but will he outproduce Rice this season? I find that hard to believe being a 260 lb FB trying to play as a HB. Will this production last?

dunno, but I cut rice for mclain last night. Hoping Mcghee takes his job back fulltime so I can cut mclain soon.

Plus I can see McClain getting all the goal line work. He has that ability to fight for every last inch he can get.

lol right now they have a man-crush on McClain... i think McGahee is backup lol
If you watched the game, Willis was the man without question. In on 3rd down, in at GL. His TD was from the 5. He was the one who took them to the goal line, then had to TAKE HIMSELF OUT because of the bloody eyelid. Twice. Eventually, the game was in hand and they chose to rest him in his first game back.Yes, I'm a Willis owner, but I think that week 3's game pointed to Willis being the featured back, in virtually all circumstances. Period.

I hope so as a McGahee owner. I was very high on McGahee in "Cam's" RB friendly offense. He needs to reclaim his featured status SOON!!

I agree, without that cut eyelid there would be no question because Willis's stat line would have been around 100 and 3 TDs.

How do you know? Because McGahee never got a carry inside the 5. Yes, granted he always seemed to have a problem with his eye. But McClain is DEFINITELY a part of this offense. The guy is a load and seems, in a limited sample set, to get the short yardage carries. We'll see how this carries forward.McGahee no doubt ran quite strong and showed he is fully capable of handling all the carries but McClain, at 260 may be seen as someone who can take some of the heavy lifting off of McGahee's shoulders. In any event I think you have to like McGahee's prospects. The line looks like it can open some big holes and he is running with a lot of authority. And Flacco doesn't look half bad, when he's not throwing interceptions

Two Words:

Ickey-Woods

Don't miss the boat on this kid. He's one blown out knee away from crippling defensive linemen regularly. Get him active.
