Who's the better defense (1 Viewer)

This might be a borderline AC thread, and I appologize if it is, but I'd like to see some conversation on who people are thinking will be the better fantasy defense for the rest of the year. Both of them looked good in week one, but I can't help wondering if it was real or just smoke and mirrors. I am leaning towards saying Minny is better ( I know they were a pretty brutal run D last year) The Vikes looked good in week one, but it was against the lowly Falcons and Harrington. The Pack looked impressive against a much better Philly offense. So which one of these two defensive units are more opportunistic? ie sacks and turnovers. Discuss!

FFL: Packers>Vikings- They have a better pass rush and corners so there's a greater big play ability.

NFL:Vikings>Packers- You can't run on Minnesota and their pass defense bends but doesn't break. Tougher to score against.

As long as Al Harris doesn't miss any time the Packer D is better. If he ends up missing time, Bush will have to step it up big time and I don't know if he can handle being picked on for 4 quarters.

Right now though, the Packers and Vikings are about even. If you have their D's, play the matchups with the two schedules combined there must be plenty of opportunities.

what about between denver and the pack?
Funny you should ask that, I wrote the original post looking to find a D to team up with Denver. I left that out because I was trying to avoid making this an AC post and I tried to gear the post to discuss these defenses rather than a team maintenance thread. FWIW I like the Denver D for later in the season. I just think they are going to come out of the gate a little slow while they adapt to Bates' system. I think the sacks will start to increase a little bit as the season progresses and Bly and Bailey should get their share of INT's.

Fantasy wise I like Green Bay.

Despite week 1...they will cause more pressure and force more turnovers.

Minny is tough to run on sure...but will that pass defense hold up all year long? Lets see what they do against Detroit...and against some teams better than one led by Joey Harrington.
