Let me know what you think...
Welcome to the boards. I suspect that you have the #1 pick in an upcoming draft. As such, there is a ton of info on both of these guys both in the forums and on the main site. Try the search box in the top-right corner. Also, threads like this tend to get legs faster if the OP (original poster) offers their opinion first. It gives people something to discuss as opposed to a standard "who is better?" thread.Again, welcome. Hope this was of some help.Let me know what you think...
Good advice Abraham. Just asking who is better doesn't give a lot to go on. Is Johnson a better receiver out of the backfield, is Adrian Peterson better near the goaline, can one of them pick up 3rd down blitzes better than the other? If you can be a little more specfic, you'll get better quality responses here in The Pool.Abraham said:Welcome to the boards. I suspect that you have the #1 pick in an upcoming draft. C'mon, you're still bitter about being wrong on CJ?Peterson is the better RB. Johnson runs behind the better line.
What line is Peterson running behind when he's trying to chase down the fumble he just lost.Peterson is the better RB. Johnson runs behind the better line.

"It's something I think about and dream about," said Peterson, 24, who became the first Vikings running back to lead the NFL in rushing in 2008, collecting 1,760 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns. "I don't focus on it because you'll never accomplish it that way [but] that's my bar. It will always be 2,000 [yards] or more. I hope to accomplish that some day."
I agree and am surprised anybody else said MJD. I thought i would be in a very small minority. But strictly between peterson and johnson, I think peterson is the better back. But this seems like an exercise in splitting hairs.Maurice Jones-Drew.

Reggie Bush? The one who doesn't fumble away NFC Championship games...
The only way TN is fighting for a playoff spot this year is by giving CJ3 20-25 touches a game. They know this.If Tennessee is fighting for a playoff spot this year, I don't think Fischer will be as generous giving carries to CJ. He will spell CJ soonerthan latter in games that Tennessee is up in to keep him fresh. Granted, giving the ball to CJ gives Tennessee the best chance to win, but minimizinghis workload will also have to be a consideration to avoid injury and keeping him fresh.
The only way TN is fighting for wins, period, is probably by giving Johnson 20+ touches a game. Fisher has proven, time and again, that he absolutely will ride his stud RBs into the ground, so I don't see many carries being lost for Johnson that he wasn't going to normally lose anyway(i.e. when he's taken out to be given a blow, GL work, or whatever).I can't see Ringer or Blount impacting his production very much at all. Almost certainly, he isn't going to get 2k yards again...but it won't be because of Ringer or Blount. The only way TN is fighting for a playoff spot this year is by giving CJ3 20-25 touches a game.
