Whose The Bengals #3 WR? (1 Viewer)

Housh also had a great night, but apparently bruised his heel late in the game. It doesn't sound serious, but it got me thinking of which WR could step in and be productive if Housh were to miss any significant time. Kelly Washington is listed as the #3 on the depth chart and he also grabbed 2 catches last night. But Tab Perry is a big target and scored a TD late looking pretty good doing it. Chris Henry had 1 catch for 9 yards last night and was at least on the field. But Henry's off field stuff and rehab from his knee injury seems to have him on the outside looking in. There doesn't seem to be a clear cut #3.

Does anyone--especially people from Cincy--have an info or more recent opinions on these guys?

Chris Henry by a fair margin also. There was talk last year that he was close to overtaking Whosyourmama

Probably by the end of September we'll know what's up with him. I'd expect he'll miss four games this year, but it's possible he'll dodge all four bullets.

Now that I've picked him up, how do you think it's possible that he'll dodge all four bullets? Just because anything can happen or because you think the NFL will go easy. Are there circumstances that make his situation unique that I don't know about? There sure were a lot of arrests last year, so I'm planning on a 4-game suspension, but would be real happy if he avoided any.

I live in Cincy and Henry has clearly taken the #3 slot. Local talk here has him potentially skirting all the problems without suspension. If he suits up he will clearly see the football and with Carson back at full strength and that makes him a viable #3 reciever in any league.

I've heard that the breathalyzer evidence could be thrown out of court due to a technicality. If he's playing, he's definitely the #3 with very nice upside.

It sounds like the alcohol charge may have to be tossed b/c of a problem with the breathalyzer. The trial in Florida on the gun charge is the worst thing left (I believe) and such is my faith in the judicial system of the US that I think a guy with money will get off since no one was hurt. The other two are relatively lesser chargers and shouldn't result in jail time.So if he beats the rap on all of them, or makes a deal that avoids a guilty charge, it's possible the NLF doesn't suspend him for four games. Next off-season he'll probably find trouble again, but it sounds more and more like he might play 16 games this year. And even if it's 12 he's a steal at his ADP. I do think he'll be the outside guy opposite Johnson, with TJH in the slot no later than 2007. If it happens this year, or either of the guys in front of him get hurt he's FF gold as a legit FF #2 that you picked up in the 15th+ round.
