9/11? Seriously? Why not schedule a full slate of games on 9/11 then? Two days later we're rolling out these hideous hat?
Teams with off days on Thursday down?
If they care enough to turn 9/11 into a marketing ploy to move the excess inventory of these ghastly hats, then they can at least met the day halfway and play some games on it.

Personally, I'd prefer no games were scheduled on 9/11 as a true memorial to the many that lost their lives in service to the city of New York and our country that day. As far as the hats go, anything that helps us "Never Forget" is okay by me.

Its really not that big of a deal to me(the hats, not 9/11), and I'd be ok with it either way, cancel all games(I personally wouldn't but if you want to I wouldn't protest) or play a full slate if you're goinig to do something like this.By the way, I'd have no problem with the hats if it wasn't a recycled notion. If these were the 9/11 hats, while they still would look like hell, at least they would serve a dedicated purpose. As it stands, it feels like an afterthought designed to move a few more hats.

The "recycle" angle is one I hadn't considered. I hate them.
