Serious question. This is one of the best forums on the internet to me. I can go months without getting into an argument in the FFA and ten minutes in the Pool I'm lashing out or getting lashed.

I voted all the above, this is by far the best forum. I used to visit other forums (football) but after swimming in the pool, they are no longer needed. There are many here who put careful thought and detail into the analysis.

I think the true answer is to see those long sections of two posters quoting each other back and forth as they carry out their cat fight on a topic.

Enough with the pet peeves.

Actually there is a lot of good team insight as their are a lot of posters very commited to fantasy football and their favorite teams. I must say also that there are some posters who are very good at pulling together statistical information to support their perspectives. Something I am not willing to take the time to do.

Footballguys.com is definitly the best FF site out there, same for their forums. The knowledge and insight of members is great. Really keeps you up to date and on top of everything.

I almost :X when having to respond to guys like Blue Onion, Bri, and one of those Diesel guys because they have so much detail and thought provoking analysis. There are plenty more like them when you get into the specific teams and those are the folks that even if I disagree with their point, I love to talk football with.

:lmao: at Grid and "thought provoking analysis" in the same sentence.

Before I posted here, I posted on NFL fan sites where the bickering and "our RB is better than Your RB... Our Draft was better than your draft.... Our GM Housed your GM" Homer talk would be the rule of the land....

For the most part the Shark Pool doesn't come near the level of homerism you see on those board because people here are more interested in the Bottom line and we see a lot of detailed and great homer opinions without going off the deep end... A ton more obectivity where and much better debates about a player or team.

Interesting. I think when the playoffs come it can get pretty "homery" but I'd agree that fans of individual teams do lend big picture league perspective quite well in the pool. Those who are homers also get callled out pretty quickly round these parts.

You're on more ignore lists than Latoya Jackson.

Just trying to keep up with you.

Polled #2.

Strictly in it to increase, expand, refine and redefine my football knowledge base.

To really learn and understand something, you have to not only research it completely, but talk about it on a frequent basis. I feel like I'm twice the FF player since this time last year, and I credit consistent participation in this forum for the exponential expansion of my football knowledge.

It'd be much better if we didnt have to put up with LHUCKS' Pac-10 shtick.

#### is really lame. Doesnt help that he's a 4-digiter either.

I think LHUCKS' insight more than makes up for that awful Pac 10 crap. He's a pretty good FF analyst. If you don't believe me, just ask him.

I think the stats and FF-specific knowledge is better than the pure football knowledge, but all told, this is miles better than any other pool I've swum in.
