Why do the Cowboys not run the ball?! (1 Viewer)

This loss vs the Titans is completely on Jason Garrett. No if ands or buts about it. Too many times Romo came out in shotgun on 1st down while the game was within reach not only in the 1st half but without a doubt the second half. I have listened to the anti-Garett fans for the last three years and have tried to remain neutral but this loss and the lack of running attempts has finally broken the camel's back (my back). Jerry get him out of here ASAP!!!! Why was L.Davis replaced by M.Holland for the entire 3rd quarter? You know why...because we planned on throwing the ball over and over again down by 7. I finally see the light and its time for Jason Garrett to go. The Cowboys offense (or a big part of it) is based on Jason Witten option routes and thats not working...its time to make a change Jerry.

I'm pissed off and realize that it wasn't all on the offense for this loss as M.Jenkins proved today that he's not a shut-down corner by any means....but if you watched this game and have the slightest knowledge about the ole pigskin than you realize the Cowboys offensive issues start with you know who.

The O certainly racked up the yards & clearly Felix not only helps them be more explosive, but puts more pressure on opposing Ds, as well. The Dallas D was mostly to blame today.

I mentioned in another thread I don't think Dallas quite realizes how good Felix actually is. He might be their best player & it was nothing short of ridiculous it took this long to make him their feature back. It'll be interesting to see what they do with him moving forward. Hopefully, his role continues to expand. Felix is one of the best RBs in the NFL right now & will only get better (he's only 23).

Because they can't

the O-line is mediocre at best

MBII is spent

Felix is a a scat back

Tashard is bad this year

I challenge everyone who responded to watch the game again...think of what YOU would do in the situations that the Dallas O found themselves in and report back. I'm sure that half of you would be considered qualified to be the offensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys.

I picked up the Dallas D, and for the life of me I don't know why. Something harked back to last year in that one stretch when they had a dominant run. My God they are bad. Secondary? They don't even look for the ball. Run right through receivers. What did they have - 3 pass interference penalties on the FIRST drive?

I have to say, the one thing that really struck me was toward the end, when the DBs were playing deep, not a single draw was run... Not one. I know it hadnt been working earlier, but the defense was now playing deep, why not try it?

The D lost the game. The Offense played fine. However, I do hope DAL moves Barber before the trade deadline..
agreed all around but MB's contract may be prohibitive, especially considering how he's looked this year.5/20/2008: Signed a seven-year, $45 million contract. Details
