You're comparing apples and oranges. Yudkin is looking at the only games that Blaylock got a decent number of touches. You're picking out Jamal Lewis' 2 best games.Yudkin's not saying "Let's project his best games out over a full season" he's saying "Let's take the games where he got a decent number of touches, similar to the number of touches he would average in a game if he was the starter, and project it out over a full season." And also, 2 games is much different than 6.I hate when one says "4 games @ XXX = 4XXX over a full season"Jamal Lewis ran for 500 yds against the Brownies in 2 games in '03, and had a trmendous season...he did NOT run for 4K yards, thoughActually, Blaylock WAS just as productive overall as Holmes or LJ when he was given the opportunity. In the 6 games where he was given the ball at least 10 times . . .17.5 carries3.5 receptions79.8 rushing + 32.8 receiving = 112.6 yards from scrimmage1.5 TD per gameOver a full season . . .280 carries1262 rushing yards525 receiving yards24 TD323 fantasy pointsand don't forget Derrick Blaylock was just as good as LJ in KC's system, right?![]()
