Why it is Great to Live in Minneapolis (1 Viewer)

Vikings are 4-0 with Favre and Peterson.

The Gophers have a new stadium, that is super cool.

And the Twins have a chance to make the playoffs with a showdown in the Dome against Detroit.

Totally Feelin' Minnesota.

80's Guy Response -- You're looking forward to seeing that big Greg Gagne vs. Jerry Blackwell match next weekend.

Just wait, there will be another warm stretch. I was out fishing November 2nd of last year in jeans and a T-shirt, it was in the low 70's.

I like Hell's Kitchen downtown. Give it a try. Al's is great, too.But if you want the best, you gotta go to Saint Paul for that.
Went to the Blue Door last week, that place is sweet. Good beer and great burgers. The Jiffey burger was only $5. I can dig it.
Try Lion's Tap in eden prairie sometime.

Game starts in about a half an hour.

GO TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!

Which is the reason behind this thread after all, because they locked the one dedicated to the Twins; fascists.

Seward Co-Op is the best breakfast.

It's great to live here because it's a big city inside a small town. I love it here. I may never leave.

I prefer the Louissianna Grill, The Diner Car (the famous one), or a breakfast place just off Dale in Falcon Heights whose name eludes me right now. Cured many a hangover there. I miss Minnesota :goodposting:

Minneapolis Town Hall Brewpub -in my top 5 overall for brewpubs

Surly Brewing Co. - same for breweries. Plus it's canned, so you can take it places where bottles aren't allowed. This is key.

A genuine friendliness that seems to pervade the city.

Don't live there and never have, but those three things struck me about the town right off the bat first time I visited.
