Why Mark Sanchez is a 1st round pick (1 Viewer)

Still don't understand how the 12th team doesn't go Peterson-Charles there. Let everyone else fight over the NY and PA players. Jump to Houston for AJ and Foster at the 3/4 turn and you've pretty much got the league wrapped up. Am I missing something?Edit: Just missed your response. I agree we need to see rosters.
Even with others jumping the 12/13 pick should go Peterson/Charles. What is the worst that happens? There are simply to many quality players (Bowe, Fitz, Beanie, Foster, Andre) for you to get screwed with your 3/4 picks. And your 5/6 Picks could easily be 2 of gates/rivers/vjax. I don't see how a Charles, Peterson, Gates, Rivers, Bowe, and one of Foster, Fitz, Andre, Romo, Bryant, Austin, Felix isn't just dominating after 6 picks. After your 5/6 there is OAK/SF who have 2 top RBs between them, a Top TE and a servicable WR as well as 3-4 players left on SD worth drafting. Your bench will stink but you will be winning the RB and TE battle easy and could have a top 3 WR pairing without much problem either.

seems "fun". I'd still grab Calvin or Chris Johnson instead of Sanchez. Or Welker at least.

Link to draft? Or just post here, por favor.

How do you do waivers?

ETA: seriously, how was Welker not a 1st round pick?

Seems like someone could easily and up with Charles, Peterson, Fitzgerald, Beanie, Kolb, VJax, Rivers, Gates, McFadden, Bush, Mathews, Lynch, Sidney Rice, Gore, Vernon, Braylon, Crabtree, Hunter, Smith, 49ers D, 49ers K. For a stud team of:Rivers, Kolb, SmithPeterson, Charles, Gore, McFadden, Mathews, Lynch, Beanie, M Bush, HunterFitzgerald, VJax, Sidney, Braylon, CrabtreeGates, Vernon
Because once one person makes a move west, several people follow. No one is going to let one owner traipse through the old central and west teams unopposed. It only takes one other drafter to move west to cut that team in half. We had three move to the midwest with their second picks and none of their teams are stellar.
True but if you start at Arrowhead (for example), it may be such an extreme first move, people will follow you west, but not that far initially: Arrowhead: W 94° 29' 3” Reliant Stadium: W 95° 24' 37 Cowboys Stadium: 97 5’35” Invesco Field: 105°01'12"W University of Phoenix: W112°15′45 Quallcomm: W 117° 7' 10” Oakland-Alameda: 122°12'00"W Qwest (CenturyLink): W122° 19' 58 Candlestick Park: W 122 23'11''If you start at Arrowhead, you can walk away with Charles at RB. Now, in the next round, see where people go. If no one is too close, then grab Bowe. If they do, skip Reliant (you now have given them a place to stop in KC and Houston) and go to Dallas. Here you can probably get two guys (choice of Witten, Romo, Jones, Austin or Bryant). In fact, you may be able to get three there. Say you walk away with Jones and Bryant. Now pick up Lloyd and Moreno. Pick up Fitz and Kolb in AZ, and get your depth in SD (Rivers, Gates, DEF), SF (Davis, Edwards). Now at this point someone may leapfrog you for guys like McFadden, BUT keep in mind, you have left a treasure or two at each location (AJ, Schaub, Foster, Owen Daniels, Beanie Wells, VJ, etc). They may chase you, but they are going to stop to get those guys dearing more will join, OR the fact they are too hard to pass up. In the end, you will have some trash, but your starters will be so good, who cares. I get you point that people will follow, but if you leaves good players and don't get greedy and keep moving west, you will have a killer lineup. If someone leapfrogs you after the first few cities, chase them and pick up the guys they leave behind. If you start so far out west, no one is going to want to join the initial rush and be left out in the cold.
