Why no love for Driver? (1 Viewer)

I don't understand why Driver is so low on the 250+ rankings (PPR & non PPR). Granted, his upside probably isn't too great because of his age, but he should be ranked higher than 40+. With Finley out and no running game, he should see more touchdown opportunities. He's been a consistent fantasy performer throughout the past few years and the notion of him "slowing down" should have been debunked when he signed a contract extension earlier in the season.

Am I missing something? Is the consensus that Jordy Nelson or James Jones will usurp him before the end of the year? If that's the case, why are they both ranked in the 80+ and 60+ ranges respectively?

Driver has some injury concerns which would make it hard to rank him much higher

Top 250 is always been sort of a weird deal. Take that list with a grain of salt.

Jeremy Maclin is the#4 scoring WR in my league & he's the #30 WR going forward which doesn't make much sense to me. Almost barely a # 3 WR in a 12 team league.

I would agree with the other poster that Driver may be down a bit since he's a bit injured but still the top 250 always baffles me with certain guys. It's like they like or don't like certain guys & never change their mind etc..

I've noticed that some veteran WR's like Driver, Mason, etc. always miss a practice or two each week. They may show up on the injury report but they always play. I've wondered if the coaches give them a day off because of their age, veteran status, or both.

The quad injury certainly effected his ranking this week. People makings rankings always drop guys down the list when their is uncertainty due to injury

Doesn't sound too serious though. Sounds pretty similiar to what Peyton Hillis has been dealing with and playing through.

Ummm... did you say something? I was too busy staring at your avatar... WTF is that?

I got a ton of love for Driver. Missed out on drafting him but made sure he was on my $30k contest team.
