I know the general fantasy football rule is to never hamstring your team with a high risk/high reward play like that but to me it doesn't look that dangerous. SD is a good team and figure they will score AT LEAST 20-25 ppg on avg. conservatively (They averaged 26.1 ppg last year) Usually, most if not all of the those points will be involve Gates and LT. Take away the team for a minute and just look at the individual players. Hands down the best TE and arguably the best RB in the league. Phillip Rivers is having a great training camp and looked poised and sharp in his preseason game. Its only one game, but if he can hold his own or better SD is gonna be fine! Lets discuss.
