Why the lack of "start 2 qb" rankings/cheatsheet/threads? (1 Viewer)

I played in a start 2QB league last year (paired with FAAB for the first time, as well). It was by far the most fun/exciting/difficult year I have ever had. In a start 1QB league, if your Tom Brady gets hurt, you can simply go to the wire and find a very serviceable QB. In start 2QB (12 team), you must have your QBs rostered and many people spend an arm and a leg in FAAB when injuries occur (an ungodly amount was spent on Kitna last year).

So, FBG... I ask you, where on earth can I find a start 2QB (4pt/pass td) list of rankings?

Good question as I also play in 2 QB leagues.I'll tell you what I do that is really helpful though. Go to your player stats from last season that show how many PPG each QB scored in your league's format (there are so many different scoring systems). Assuming your league is 12 teams, see what the QB 24 averaged (may want to adjust a bit due to some guys having limited samples). Say you find that 13 ppg is pretty much the worst starter in your league (QB24). Then subtract the ppg for each other QB from that. Say Brady had 19ppg. He'd be "worth" 6 points (19-13). You can obviously adjust each # up or down depending on how you think each guy will do in 2011. If you do the same thing with other positions (WR, RB, etc.), it'll give you a good idea on the "worth" of other guys in comparison to the QBs. So maybe you find that the lowest RB is 12 ppg and you expect Chris Johnson to score 18 ppg, he too is "worth" 6 points. You can start putting guys in tiers, your 7 pointers, 6 pointers, etc. all the way down and use that as a draft guide.Obviously, you'll find QBs are much more valuable in this format because the "replacement level" is changed and you're comparing the ppg dropoff to guys like Jason Campbell, Colt McCoy, etc. (QB24) instead of Eli Manning, Matt Schaub, etc. (QB12).

Yeah use the VBD app and be blown away by what it will tell you. 2 QB leagues tend to COMPLETELY change the way drafts go early on.

In my 2 QB league, the first non-QB on the overall top 60 cheatsheet is Arian Foster at #13, behind Matt Ryan. It ranks guys like Sam Bradford and Jay Cutler ahead of Ray Rice and Jamaal Charles.

:goodposting: There are lots of cheatsheets to view that refer to start 2 QB - from just one scoring variant:
League Scoring Systems

Performance - Version 1

Passing TDs are worth 4 pts (all others are 6)

Passing yards are 1 pt for 20 yd (rush/rec are 1 pt for 10 yd)

Turnovers are (-1)

FGs are worth 3 pts (PATs are 1)

FG over 40 yds worth 1 bonus pt (2 bonus pts over 50 yds)

Def scores pts for TD, sack, TO, safety, & shut out

Start 1QB / 2RB / 2WR / 1TE / 1PK / 1DT

Start 1QB / 2RB / 2WR / 1TE / 1Flex / 1PK / 1DT

Start 1QB / 2RB / 3WR / 1TE / 1PK / 1DT

Start 1QB / 2RB / 3WR / 1TE / 1Flex / 1PK / 1DT

Start 1QB / 2RB / 3Rec / 1PK / 1DT

Start 2QB / 2RB / 3WR / 1TE / 1PK / 1DT

Start 2QB / 2RB / 3WR / 1TE / 1Flex / 1PK / 1DT

Start 2QB / 2RB / 3Rec / 1PK / 1DT

Start 1QB / 3RB / 3Rec / 1PK / 1DT

Start 2QB / 3RB / 4Rec / 1PK / 1DT

2 qb.... kick return leagues are the BEST! It nullifies the stupid normal RB over valued NON SCENCE leagues of today. Even more scarce is the old Touch Bonus leagues of the 60, 70 and 80 decades. They rock too!

you can tweak the draft dominator to 2 qb's and like others have said the 159 cheatsheet link has 2 qb cheats for any scoring system. Been in a 2 qb league for 20 years and don't understand why it's not the norm. 1-2-3 leagues put me to sleep. try a 2-4-4 league. Far less luck involved.
