Actually if they dont rest the starters im sure that they are not going to give a crap on how they play against detroit.... So what may be a hard matchup for roy and company may turn out to be easy...
rebound they captured homefield.. they have nothing to play for...Actually if they dont rest the starters im sure that they are not going to give a crap on how they play against detroit.... So what may be a hard matchup for roy and company may turn out to be easy...

Of course, if they are playing, then pride is an important factor. However, if I am the coach, I substitute freely, play my starters about half the game to keep them sharp, and minimize the risk of injury.try pride....rebound they captured homefield.. they have nothing to play for...Actually if they dont rest the starters im sure that they are not going to give a crap on how they play against detroit.... Indy has proved this approach does not work. Remember their first playoff game is not for a month yet.Of course, if they are playing, then pride is an important factor. I wouldn't say Indy has "proved" anything. They were not successful in the playoffs, but then they weren't too successful in weeks 13 and 14 this year either, and it wasn't because they rested their starters in week 12. Then they took the Bengals apart in week 15.Indy has proved this approach does not work. I know that the Eagles rested all of their starters for the last two regular season games of 2004 after clinching homefield advantage. Didn't seem to affect their playoff performance in any way, as they won their 2 playoff games and made it to the Super Bowl.Indy has proved this approach does not work. Even if the Bears had something to play for, this is a decent matchup for Roy. The Bears have given up alot of stats to #1 WRs this year. Id think about playing Kitna too depending on my other options.Actually if they dont rest the starters im sure that they are not going to give a crap on how they play against detroit....
